Re: NL5, Trip kings vs shove?

Raising to see where you're at isn't bad at all in some hands (this hand is not one of them). Its possible he has a flush, but i think two pair is more likely. I find a lot of 5nl players c/c with...

Re: [50NL] T7, two pair on A turn vs TAG

Odds say you should probably call, but it really seems like your beat. He doesn't have a strong enough Ace hand that he would shove with just top pair (like AK maybe AQ). A10 or a set is most likely...

Re: 50NL line check

3-bet pre for sure, and raise flop. SB would 3-bet preflop with any overpair. I can only really put SB on two hands however, 77 or like A10. So to be honest i'm not sure if you're ahead in the hand,...

Re: 50NL: AQs in BB

Personally I would have preferred 3-betting preflop, and betting out the flop. I'm pretty sure he has a 2 pair hand.

I would probably fire flop and turn and c/f river in this situation. However...

Re: 777 OOP - Multi way

okay actually just thought about it a little more. The flop is pretty drawy with the flush and 89 is a likely hand that could give an open ender...raising flop is the best idea. On a less drawy...

Re: 777 OOP - Multi way

Preflop was fine..I like the cold call on flop to be honest. You definitely had the best hand on the flop and theres a chance wayned would reraise hoerenjong, or even just call, giving us more money....

Re: Do you shove now on this turn?

He seems like he has a pocket pair or like AK/AQ/AJ...shove it, he'll probably call pretty light. Earlier I was thinking checking behind or betting low might be the best choice, but then we're...

Re: 400nl- AA deep

Is there a chance that he's reraising to get BB out of the hand and either win the pot there or at least take you heads up on turn with a hand like KQ because he figures you'll c-bet with a fairly...

Re: 400nl: quick line check plz

all those checks are c/f unless bet is like under half pot. then just call.

Re: 400nl: quick line check plz

Hand 1:Check river
Hand 2: Check river
Hand 3: Bet isn't bad, fold to his shove.

Re: What do you prefer

CLear raise? I'd really like to know why? What cards could come that make us not willing to get it in on the turn? If a spade comes, we still have plenty of outs if he has the flush. AA is small...

Re: 1000NL, flush OOP against a solid TAG on a paired board

I'm 50/50 between shoving and betting low and trying to get a little value from a weaker hand, or he may see your low bet as weak and shove on you anyway.

As for hands that beat you, I think most...

Re: What do you prefer

Please correct me if anyone strongly disagrees. Whats so wrong with just calling? I dont think theres a turn card that reaaally worries us. Calling on the flop may induce him to either love his hand...

Re: 400NL: Weird river bet in 3bet pot

I like the shove option.

I really dont think he has a 2 here, I think he would bet turn 99% of the time to at least get a little value out of a straight.

Spades are a possibility, but I dont...

Re: 10/20 AK TPTK in blind battle on drawy flop

Seems pretty good to me. Like Schwza said, shoving flop is good too. How would you feel if a club came on the turn? Would you c/c or c/f or still get it all in?

Re: Which street is bad? All of it? None of it? Damn you good...?

My analysis:
Preflop: Blind vs. Blind...his 3 bet doesn't mean QQ-AA at all. He may assume you're trying to steal and he tries to resteal, figuring he has position on you in case you do call.
...

Re: Which street is bad? All of it? None of it? Damn you good...?

Just to add, folding pre-flop isn't a bad play at all either.

Re: Which street is bad? All of it? None of it? Damn you good...?

True, but what other hand to you really expect to hit? All i meant is that if you plan on playing into the flop, folding with TPTK is kinda weak. It all really depends on your read on the opponent. A...

Re: 3/6 Weird AQ TP hand vs. two donks in re-raised pot

Raise flop to something like 120, may fold out a lot of K holdings.. and I'd much rather be heads up by the turn. Hopefully you get rid of someone with a K

If you make it to the turn, I fold to...

Re: Which street is bad? All of it? None of it? Damn you good...?

I feel if you get to the flop, there's no way you should fold..If you decide to call his 3-bet preflop, you can't be afraid to get it in with this. If an ace came on the flop, sure you would beat QQ...

Re: 400nl river choice

With the opponent playing this hand passively, I dont think he'll raise any bet... I think a bet of 100 would get a call from a 10, I doubt he'd put you on a K or better. Bet the most you think that...

Re: Which street is bad? All of it? None of it? Damn you good...?

Preflop doesn't necessarily narrow his range down to QQ-AA...he's somewhat splashy preflop, and folded around to you two in the blinds, he could think your raise is a steal and could 3-bet with many...

Re: Trip KK

There is never a situation where i fold here...Sure 1010 is in his range but there are wayyyy too many hands that you beat to even consider folding. Not too mention your pot odds are amazing

Re: co vs. button against 2p2er

wrschultz, just out of curiosity, why do you think c/cing is best on turn? If we have intentions of putting money into the pot, why not be the aggressor, I think we have a better chance of winning...
