Re: *OFFICIAL* December Goals Thread

-Play 10000 hands
-Reach a 400$ bankroll
-Move up to NL4
-Only play 4 tables in a session (helped improve my play the last half of the month.)
-Think before putting in my stack
-Change my went...

Re: KQo clickraised pot, OOP, Top Two on dry board, facing a clickrais

Ok.. That's also my first impulse, and I think that I'll usually be way ahead of his range.

So if we shove, which hands will call us?

KQo clickraised pot, OOP, Top Two on dry board, facing a clickraise.

WARNING! Very tiny stakes!

I was multitabling on stars, when this hand came up. My experience tells me, that when facing a clickraise, it's usually a slowplayed monster. Two pairs, a set or an...

Re: NL 20: Missed Draw, should I bluff or give it up?

Bet more on the flop. You are 5 to the flop, so you should at least bet the pot to isolate. Bet 1$.

If you want to bet the turn, then make a potsized bet again. 1.5$ out in 2.8 is a way too small...

Re: ***Official? November Goals Thread***

-Build a new bankroll, starting @ 220$
-Play at least 10000 hands @ NL2 (Overrolled, I know, but more comfortable for me)
-Cashgame buyin for max 1% of my total bankroll
-Tourney buyin for max ½%...

Re: NL 25 - Rivered trips and fold?

[ QUOTE ]
Why no cbet? Not betting the flop is horrible. The river is pretty iffy, considering how the rest of the hand played out, I probably call.

Re: get off the 8/10

I have to agree with Kurto here. I think a set is much more likely, or a pair+draw.

I'm thinking 77. Wouldn't villains line make sense then? Completes OOP, calls the raise for setvalue, floats the...

Re: flopped a monster, should i slowplay?

No, you should bet this and get as much money in the pot as possible. Like the others say /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Villain clickraises on NL25. What is our response?

A situation I very often encounter while grinding NL25, is the position clickraise. An example:

Hero (100 BBs) is UTG with 99.
Villain (100 BBs) is in the CO.

Hero raises to 4x BB, fold to...

Re: 25NL: 77 Multiway Flop Bet?

This is pretty much standard I think, with only one overcard. But you're right, with the amount of players in, you have to be very careful. Most of the time you're going to see CO turn up a king here...

Re: 25 NL River decision

Personally I'd fold this preflop without any reads. Marginal hand, OOP. And if i'm gonna raise it up, i'd make it at least potsize or 4x BB.

Postflop is well played I think. Like Danny implies,...

Re: Big blind special under pressure

I think i'll put one of them on a flushdraw, one of them on TPTK, and maybe the last one is on an OESD.

Re: NL25 - 55 on the 5(46) Flop R and RR after me

I usually raise the pot preflop with a pp, even out of position. The limping guys could have any two cards, so why give them a chance to outflop yo, when you're most likely ahead? I raise the pot...
