Re: super ssnl question with answers that might differ a lot?

[ QUOTE ]
Hmm i'm learning something new. I usually raise flop 100% here to protect our hand since opponent could be donking into alot of draws.

Maybe that's a leak for me? I don't know..

But...

Re: super ssnl question with answers that might differ a lot?

PF raise size that got called really matters here as to what he might have. Given the drawing flop and his bet, I probably prefer a raise over call.

Re: Is my blocking bet very transparent?

Why would you want to "block" at this point when you're ahead? Also a mistake many players make with blocking bets is sizing them too small. Make them bigger, then mediocre hands will call and lose...

Re: JJ multiway, completely lost

Call flop, or given played, call his reraise and fold to any turn bet.

Re: I think I messed up on the turn big time

Depends on opponents, lots would call, I'd raise $2.50 sometimes.

Re: Tough flop spot.. facing donkbet by unknown

Pretty passive players here.. most likely you're ahead.. just call? A min raise would have been called and you still have position on turn to decide what to do.

In situations like this I call 60%...

Re: I think I messed up on the turn big time

PF raise a little large. A blocking bet on the turn would've been better, as well as flop bet of $9. $9 would've allowed you to check turn if you really wanted to, as opponent might bet around...

Nope, call or raise which serves same purpose as your shove without exposing whole stack to a better hand.

Re: Catching a bluff with A9?

I'd say fold. It's very rare that A9 works as a bluff catcher with AQ77 on board. You gave no action whatsoever and yet button built a $303 pot for a reason. It would've been far better if you bet...

Change the way your bet pot script is set, these weaksauce bets are way less effective for building pots and establishing fold equity when you miss than these 60% pot bets. Both have their...

Re: 3/6 flop nuts, wtf on turn

Should've bet bigger on the flop. First mistake you made in this hand is in the subject line of this thread.. how did you flop the nuts? Nuts in this case = flush, or flopped straight drawing to...

Re: 100NL - flop raise with 77, over on board

In general a check/raise bluff if attempted blind without info will not make you money in the long run. You have no idea he doesn't have 2 diamonds, higher pockets, AK, KQ-s, or even KK.. and risked...

Re: T7s

Not betting or reraising the flop turned a potentially huge hand/pot into a small pot and risky decision on the river.

Re: JcAh by Ballad126

Betting the turn lulled you into thinking that you were ahead on the river, hence the "valuebet" mirage you had. Ace-high on the turn with opponent checking flop/turn does NOT mean you're ahead.......

This is quite a bad beat. I would bet the flop, but check/raise the way you did, the size you raised, is fine. However when another heart came on the turn, you just gotta stop trying to take it...
