Re: Top Pair, 1 card OESD + 1 card FD

Why did you post in early position? I think this is the biggest error in the hand.

Re: Farha/Townsend stiff dealer?

Son of Stalin is correct on all counts.

Whether they are "trade secrets", which the most likely aren't, is completely irrelevant.

Re: Rate my live BR plan

You will have a very hard time finding regular games at the upper limits of your range in Tunica. I believe that the only room that spreads anything higher than 4-8 on a regular basis is the Shoe,...

Re: Dealer Falls Asleep In Box

I know the dealer your talking about. She told me about it. She just had surgury last week and was on some heavy pain meds. She's back to her normal chatty self now.

Re: Dealer Falls Asleep In Box

[ QUOTE ]
I'm not saying the dealer has no fault here. I'm simply saying that Player 2 also has fault here. Seat 2 wasn't paying attention -- original poster says this is all dealers fault , I say...

Dealer Falls Asleep In Box

Long time lurker with very few posts.

Playing this weekend at the Shoe in Tunica, which is normally one of my favorite places to play. Generally, the dealers are very good, even if some are a...

Re: Fold TPTK on the Turn?

Preflop - Std

Turn - As stated above, donk the the turn. As played, I really don't see how you can fold. The pot is pretty big now, and you have really good hand. I know its two cold, but...

Re: Own the software, not the site.

Everyone thus far has been prosecuted under the Wire Act. The Wire Act was passed to stop sports bookies and (probably) does not apply to gaming sites that do not allow sports gambling. No officers...

Re: review of fulltilt

For weeknights (prior to recent events), there are usually anywhere from 2-4 3/6 full ring games going and 5-6 6 max games.

For 5-10, usually just a couple of full ring and a few more 6 max.

Re: 5/10 AJs in the BB

Why is leading the flop bad? My initial thought was to bet out and (and likely 3 bet the cutoff). I assume the c/r is better because we are pretty sure we have the best hand and we want to charge...

Re: 3/6 JJ with overcards on flop

If it goes bet, fold, fold, do you then fold the flop?

3/6 JJ with overcards on flop

Villan in this hand appears to be a solid tag. Numbers are 19/7/1.57 over 80 hands or so. Is this standard?

General Question Re Middle Suited Aces in EP

I know that this depends on the game (loose or tight), but what is the current thought for playing A9s and A8s in EP. I used to auto fold these, but lately, I have started open limping with them. ...

Re: Sizing up players when just sitting down

As should be said, these "tells" should not be taken overboard. I was at the Bellagio recently and sat down in the 8-16 game. I had been in vegas for several days, and probably looked pretty rough....

Re: Pocket 8s Playalong - 7 way raised pot

Well, if we are focusing on post-flop, then so far its pretty uninteresting I think. You must raise.

Re: 66 button

Is preflop a standard call? I call here sometimes, but the vast majority of the time I fold 66 to a raise (particularly utg), even from the button and even with 2 coldcallers.

Re: full tilt 3/6 vs competition

Well, I am at work, so I dont have access to PT. I agree that players tend to be (very) aggressive. But, most of the time it is only two or 3 players to the flop. Other sites (I believe) are much...

Re: full tilt 3/6 vs competition

I also play 3/6 at FT. The games certainly seem tighter and more aggressive than other sights I have played. I am curious as to other people's thoughts as well. I am thinking of moving to play...
