No reads on opponents yet. Pick up AK in position versus the blinds. Not sure what is the correct post flop action.

I'm thinking SB may have a weaker ace and I might get paid off there, so should...

Re: My computer goes slow - do I need more RAM or a better CPU?

Re: My computer goes slow - do I need more RAM or a better CPU?

Um, your CPU usage is nearly 100%. There is definitely a process running out of control and slowing you down. What process is it? Click on the process tab and sort by CPU.

You can throw all the...

Re: Quick ? regarding the right videocard..

Unless you are doing 3D video games, those cards are not really going to vary in terms of quality in what you see on your screen. They are all pretty good. I would go with the cheapest.

Hard drive...

Re: Need advice in picking a software

I haven't used it, but Intuit has a free Quickbooks package that seems pretty damned full featured. Doesn't hurt to try it out. You can get it for free here:

Re: Minimum Internet Speed Required for Poker?

Ok. Just for whoever is interested:

I monitored a recent 4 table session at Pokerstars (6 max) for about an hour and here are some statistics:

daveT:

You are aware that your WiFi speed is not the same as your internet speed, right? The 6-54 Mbps is strictly the speed at which you connect to your access point/router.

You could have a...

Re: Virtual Memory Partition

If you have 3GB of RAM you are hardly ever going to use the swap file. Some people even recommend disabling the swap file completely when you have that much RAM.

2-3GB swap file is huge. It...

I still say it is fried.

Recommend completely taking apart the TV and manually resoldering all connections and fault checking with a multimeter.

Ok, this was a weird hand for me. Not sure if the river bet was necessary. I was hoping if anyone had the 10 it was the shortstack and I might pick up a side-pot with the river bet.

Is this a...

It is sometimes in there pretty tight...
