Re: Textbook hand, I don\'t know what I\'m doing.
I agree with checking behind on the flop. A lot of players at these limits will check their strong hands to the PFR planning on check-raising his cont. bet. If you check behind you get a free card...

Re: Full Buy in Vs Buying In Short
I don't want to hijack this topic, but I was wondering if you prefer buying for 100BB or 200BB stacks?
Personnally I always buy in for 100BB, and when I double up I usually leave the table if other...

Re: Having a hard time making profits
Hmm, I donwloaded Poker Grapher and it crashes every time I load a database. Oh well, as I said my BR hasn't moved a lot since I started using PTO.
I'm gonna try and put the advice to practice and...

Re: Having a hard time making profits
Actually, it's more like 2.5 AF >_>
I'd probably have a bit more if I didn't become such a calling station when I'm losing :P

Re: Value betting the river
I've noticed betting full pot when you get a backdoor flush or something that doesnt look obvious you were chasing all the way works really well. A lot of people are just too curious and will pay a...

Re: 5/10 hand
He could have a 456x hand or some kind of set (It would surprise me, though, since you have top 2). I don't think he's bluffing since he'd be representing he hit a gutshot, which would be pretty hard...

Re: Having a hard time making profits
Nice post jpg /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Maybe you didn't understand my other post, because I play pretty much any JJxx to AAxx like I'd play medium pocket pairs in holdem: I limp or call a raise...

[ QUOTE ]
advice: move up
[/ QUOTE ]
I've played a couple of times at PLO10, but even there I felt like I was playing with scared money. I don't think a 105$ bankroll is enough for anything...

Re: 2/4 Interesting Flop Decision
I'd call and call a shove from limper since we're getting 3:1 odds to call and you'll improve to a boat 30% of the time. If the limper flat calls, you can reconsider on the turn.

Re: Having a hard time making profits
So you'd recommend playing a "nut peddling" style and just bet when I have a good made hand or a good draw?
Would you recommend raising preflop considering at least 2 or 3 people will call your...

Re: Having a hard time making profits
Haha, I'd knew that would happen.
Lets see if I can sum it up in a couple of sentences.
After almost every one of my sessions (albeit short ones), I end up break even. When I win a couple of...

Re: bad calls on turn and river?
He is drawing to the nut flush draw since the Ad and Kd are on the board.
I didn't notice you had nines full of fours on the river, so as played on the turn I'd call the river since A4 and K4...

Re: bad calls on turn and river?
At those limits he may have A4 or even K4 and you're probably drawing dead on the turn. I fold this after the reraise on the turn, but I'm a nutpeddler :P

Re: Ideal Poker Tracker stats for 6-max?
Thanks for the replies guys. I played a couple more hands and my VPIP is now 30%. My PFR went down to 7% though, probably because at these limits you always get 5 callers when you raise preflop and...
