Re: Moving up to highstakes

Just wondering LucidDream, BobboFitos and Redgrape, do you feel like real heroes to bully me on the net just because I'm new?

Because, really, you would not do that in real life. I'm 6'6 250lbs...

Re: FT200 Ugh TPTK

Just fold, he's probably got KJs or something. Calling turn is fine but his small turn and big river bet should tell you he was slowplaying something.

Re: 500bbs deep at Wynn

Depends on how big a donk he is, I don't think you can fold a set here. On the flop I'd raise for sure.. Q on the turn is beautiful? How do you know he doesn't have KQs AQs etc.. his play makes...

Re: Moving up to highstakes

Paying $300-500 an hour for a good coach seems a lot of money, but think of how many $300+ pots you'll be involved in over the next month? How many of them you'll lose? How many you'll misplay? If...

the difference between 10/20 and lower limits is on 10/20 people are VERY GOOD postflop and its a LOT harder to tilt them. 5/10 is so easy to tilt people and everyone is pretty...

Re: Moving up to highstakes

lol I didn't mean I won every single day.. when I'm down in a session I take short naps(not full, 8hour sleep) and get up and grind my way back until I'm in the black even if it crosses over 2 days.....

Re: 4,000th post- lots of strategy minus the strategy and add none

If your idea is purely to help the homeless to make some money, then poker isn't the way. One homeless guy's setup cost to play poker alone will be the cost of getting good accommodation, PC,...

Re: AM I really so bad at poker?

Interesting that you raised strong on AA in hand 2 then bet quite small flop and turn and only shoving on river when the board has a possible set.

Personally I don't think you should want to get...

Re: AKs preflop descision

Depends on what you've seen BU 3-4bet PF with, I don't think a fold is that bad especially since BU is a donk who will probably call and cut down your odds. Shoving isn't bad either since they're...

Re: 10/25 Borgata, bluffed out for 6k :( :(

I didn't bother reading all the replies, but OP your bet-sizing was very problematic. AA why bet so small preflop, flop, and turn? Make it 250 to go PF, and then 85-90% lead every street. He would...

Re: Moving up to highstakes

4PTBB/100 is nothing, what about that makes you think you can move up to high stakes!?!? My entire month not a single day was under 10PTBB/100 at 2/4 and I have not even considered moving up to high...

Re: JTs vs NIT & donk in 3way flop, is this good?

Yeah as I can see after making the post it's an obvious shove, my play was standard lol.

Re: 600nl, JJ underepped facing 3 barrel.

PF passive yes, but as played depending on UTG's stats I might've reraised this flop, or coldcall followed by bet/fold turn. Checking on a board of undercards to showdown just gives you no idea what...

Re: QJs TPGK plus flush draw, 2barreled by villain, your plan?

Can you really fold this turn? I know I couldn't. Calling is probably no different to shoving because if I call this turn I will have to call the river, so I shoved turn.

Villain actually had...

Re: JTs vs NIT & donk in 3way flop, is this good?

Please, criticizing short stack when I made it clear that it's not how I usually play is just... whatever. I got sucked out the hand before so I thought this a good flop to stick it in, nothing...

Re: KTo monotone flop, 2-pair on turn, is this standard?

I'm wondering the EV of shoving turn vs as played.. what hands call the turn shove, and do such hands usually have us beat?

Re: QJs TPGK plus flush draw, 2barreled by villain, your plan?

I said not looking for comments on flop play because I had victimized this villain a couple of hands in a row and he then started folding to my normal-sized reraises. With a strong hand here and...

QJs TPGK plus flush draw, 2barreled by villain, your plan?

Villain is 22/15 over 50 hands, we had tangled a couple of times and I beat him but while he's not passive he hasn't been out of line. UTG is a loose donk and UTG+1 is super tight and folds to any...
