Re: another 3/6 turn

I shove, if he's got a set reload, but usually weakness post-flop is exactly that, weakness... and checking behind on the flop and min-raising turn qualifies.

Re: You wake up and... remember nothing about poker

1fineday, interesting post, some thoughts (as they come, in no particular order of importance)

1) Actually, this one is the single most important rule: preservation of capital as you start out,...

Re: Bet sizing with the nuts SUPER deep at 2/4

I'd make the standard x3 raise, so make it 240 straight. I know we want to "get his whole stack" but if you get greedy and just bomb the turn even he will realize that it's time to find a better spot...

Re: full ring 10/20 - call push preflop with JJ?

My full ring experience with online full ring games dates back to Party days but this is a pretty routine call - you'll be flipping the vast majority of the time, you'll be dominated very, very...

Re: Official FTP 750K

Slept in until 3:30 (but registered the night prior) finally came in and played 3 hands, sat out so I can go get breakfast, come back to KK, double up. Poker is so awesome sometimes...

Re: Weird top two spot 25/50

[ QUOTE ]
i actually don't mind a flop check, but then you have to bet the turn and river

[/ QUOTE ]

I think betting the flop and checking turn is FAR superior to this.

Re: 10/20 Live/deep, time for a thin value bet?

Ugh, I checked behind like a complete pansy, 99 no good sir. In my defense it was like the last hand of the night for me so I guess I just didn't want to have to face any tough decisions right before...

10/20 Live/deep, time for a thin value bet?

10/20 Commerce. UTG is a solid pro, CO is the Villain, he's an older Asian guy who literally just moved to our table and whom I have never seen before, so no reads whatsoever.
UTG ~ 4k'ish, me and...

5/10 short - Following through with a plan on a weird river.

Villain (who shall remain anonymous) is a mediocre reg at 2/4 - 3/6 - he's overaggro pre-flop and not too great post where he doesn't bluff enough in spots he should and makes bad "heroic" call in...

Re: i hate these spots, fold the AA?!?!

re-raise more pre-flop

Versus a tough, aggro opponent that's capable coming over the top of you like that with you not knowing what to do I would probably start by checking the flop. Since you...

CRAI would be rather cool.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you're more likely to get called by a worse hand than fold out a better one, so yeah... but not really.

Re: CONTEST: post a hotter \"brunette\" and win money

I don't get people's obsession with Stokke. Sure, she looks good and she has an athletic body, but that's it. There are many hotter women in this thread...

Re: 10-20 QQ vs. UTG limp rr

once you call pf, the flop is an easy call. you can't consider anything different actually. only thing id think is to fold pf to the l/r, but i generally wouldnt do that either.

Re: Thin or too thin?
