Re: JJ vs loose/passive that 3-bets preflop

How you played, you should be beat. How many hands do you have with him? He more than likely isn't double-barreling with something like AKh. I'd just wait for a better spot since he'd love to give...

Re: 100NL: Flopped bottom straight, tough turn/river, linecheck

You needed to bet more here on the turn so you could get it all-in by the end of the hand. And you'd be in a good spot for all-in on the river, and give seemingly good odds to snap a bluff. Like the...

Re: 200NL - C/R draw on turn?

Do you know a lot about standard WTSD%'s? Mine is at 19% and winning% at 53%, I think that's fairly low, but I'm also hyper-aggressive after the flop. I just don't like double-barreling a 52/5 here...

Re: QQ getting 4-bet OOP PF by TAG

Even if you know he could have AK, you have to fold. You're either a slight favorite or a 4:1 dog, meaning he's gotta have AK nearly all of the time for your equity to be any good.

Re: INAPPROPRIATE

Don't play when drunk. I figure you know this...I like the comment about AK, I've gotten [censored] a few times trying to get tricky like you did. And better hands usually are only calling you. If...

Re: 200NL - C/R draw on turn?

I think you're better off check-calling or check-folding. Check-folding is definitely better as your draw will be transparent when it hits. Also, he could be on a flush too. If I were in position I...

Getting Minraised on Dry Flop - Totally Lost

Hate min-raising. I wonder if this is the sort of hand I should be felting? Personally I don't like it because I think the pot size is too small. When he bets $19 on turn, I'm not putting him on more...

Re: NL100 line check: flopped set in reraised pot

I like it. I would usually bet turn, but you probably know something I don't. And if you're really afraid of being 3-bet, don't raise as much or just limp with your mid pp.

Re: Excuse me while I vomit

Don't understand how c/r'ing in either spot works well against opponent's range. C/r'ing flop is probably best; when turn is a 10 I hate c/r'ing turn. This guy is 17/15 and he's pretty good I've been...

Re: Time to tread cautiously?

I would say definitely not. I think you have little reason to be worried. I like your bet-3bet on the flop although I don't necessarily agree with your raise from the SB with 33. I've been going for...

Re: NL 100 So i decided to make a stand.. really bad?

If you keep getting 3-bet light, you should probably leave the table. And if you plan on shoving this hand, you should consider shoving it preflop along with all your other Ax's to a 3-bet if you...

Excuse me while I vomit

I have this guy at 17/15/8 after 222 hands now, but earlier when he pulled this I think PT had him logged as a weak-tight somehow instead of an ultra-aggressor. We had been both multi-tabling for...

Re: FTP 80nl deep - river bluff

"Deep Stack" does not equal super donk spew! Took idea a little too far. The answer to your question is unimportant because playing poker in order to profit you will never get into this situation. If...

Re: NL200 KQ TP reraised pot vs. fish

If he's as fishy as you say he is, I could almost see folding the river after being check-raised. Looks like Mr. Fish got a big hand and now has FPS.

I would never ever ever rr KQ vs. UTG raiser,...

Re: QQ Top Set Deep-Stacked

I dunno if he knew who I was or what, because given how I had been playing I looked pretty solid. Then he reraises to 3x my raise with 7/images/graemlins/club.gif5/images/graemlins/club.gif. I don't...

Re: 100NL KJ with top pair facing check raise mini

I'd just stack and hope BB is outkicked or has a lower pair or flush draw. People will hold some pretty weak hands at least at FTP at 0.5/1 when theyre short-stacked.

Re: 100NL How is this line?

Best hands? I was mainly referring to a set not 2pr, but yes my eyes glazed over the obvious straight draw.

Re: QQ Top Set Deep-Stacked vs. Keyser

I had no idea this guy was a 2p2'er. If I did I would have four-bet QQ in a heartbeat. I was really hoping to bet-3bet the flop when I led. Check-calling the turn is about the most brilliant and...

Re: 100NL How is this line?

I think it's better not to bet-3bet in an unraised pot with this kind of hand. Not only did you notice that he came over and 4-betted you (which you should have folded to), his range becomes much...

QQ Top Set Deep-Stacked vs. Keyser

Dealt Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gifQ/images/graemlins/heart.gif in the CO. Three orbits or so have run at the table, which is six-handed. Both I and the button have a standard tight image, not much...

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad

Wonder if anyone here is a cardrunners member and has seen the video where gaucho says continuation bets after reraises are generally overused, looking for opportunities to cut back

Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad

CO open-raises, he's marked as 29/25/2 with attempt to steal 44% over 100 hands. Folds to me in the BB with Q /images/graemlins/club.gif9 /images/graemlins/club.gif. I reraise and he flat calls....

Re: Drawish board, sanity check: easy River fold?

Calling the river is insane unless you have a very solid read on the player. Just pick a better spot to gamble unless you want to increase your variance.

Something more interesting though, I...

Semibluff reraise ends up 3-handed postflop

On my right in the CO, I have an aggressive player, PAHud tells me hes stolen 15/32 times in the past 148 hands. He open-raises from CO, on the button I have 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif6...
