Re: Drop or wait for the turn?

You have mid pair w/ no heart on a monotone board, the bettor could have an ace, a made flush, a heart or could be completely bluffing, on an uncraised pot and w/ a player yet to act I'd fold easily...

Re: 3/6 really weird flop and river situation

cap, a lot of money already in the pot so disguising the hand isnt worth it, check/call river

Re: Cap or not?

I'd call down the 3-bet on the flop, hardly anyone would fold in the turn w/ a capped flop, you have a great drawing hand but you're still underdog to any ace so capping isnt for value, without any...

Re: River fold

against unknown I'm more apt to call down, for one I'm stupidly stubborn w/ TPTK, also hoping its a bluff, and finally I can take notes on how he plays.

Re: A9o hand

I don't use stat-tracking cuz i play in servers that don't use them, so I disregarded the stats and my post was meant for an unknown.

Re: Raise or go for Overcall?

I'd go for overcall, no guarantees on either BB or MP paying off another bet, but you don't lose another bet with the BB 3-betting

Re: AJ turns top pair

Either call the raise on the flop or fold, I would personally fold with no reads, just call down w/ the J on the turn and river

Re: A9o hand

Re: micro limit/ small stakes no-limit texas hold\'em books

thanks for the reply, I've read TOP and I do intend on reading HOH, but I'm looking for a book geared specifically on no-limit small stakes.

micro limit/ small stakes no-limit texas hold\'em books

I'm currently a 1/2 limit player and thinking of starting a bankroll playing no-limit. Any suggestions on which poker book(s) to purchase so I can make a transition to no-limit?
