I think that a turn check is better, although sometimes in the heat of the moment I have just fired. As played, I think the pot is just big enough to draw to the river.

Flop bet is necessary because it him the info that the two behind him have no pair (almsot all the time). So, only thing to worry about is the SB. Flop 3 bet can perhaps clean up a couple ace outs. ...

I dont really see why you would want to put in more flop action. As played is fine. If you think you are ahead >50% on the river, go ahead and raise it there and fold to a three bet.

Decent spot to try the "he knows, I know he will never fold" 3-bet bluff. You'll get there a lot anyway and gain teh meta effects without costing you much.
