Why would lead the flop be a bad option? I would probably lead a 9high flop in a 3bet pot. Assuming his 3betting range is TT+ ,AKo,AKs, you will gain information here leading the flop.

thx danny. my mistake was probably the small 3bet on the flop.
in retrospective i think i prefer the shove to his re-raise on the flop...But then again, i would ouly get called by a better hand i...

Why would you not re-raise him on that flop? I have some trouble playing overpairs in this spot. I can only beat 99 and AK or smth frisky......

we beat any Ace obviously, except for A9, AK. AK i think we can exclude as he would most certainly 3bet you with those stats (15/10) so you are really only beat for 99 and A9.
