Re: The state of $100NL FT

OK maybe I should simplify things. What skills are needed to beat an opponent who 3 bets constantly in position instead of calling and will almost always fire a bullet or two on the flop and turn? Do...

The state of $100NL FT

I play on full tilt $100 and have noticed from the donks and the TAG regulars that the aggressiveness of players is much higher than at the $50 tables. Most of the passive fish seem to be broke at...

KK on draw heavy flop

I keep finding myself in these situations and don't know how to handle them. I don't have much of a read on the opponent, just sat down. With how draw heavy the flop is do you call here or is this a...

Re: Big pot turn play

OK thanks guys, I am just in a bad downswing right now and wanted to make sure my head is clear. I bet out a little less than pot, called a shove, he had the 8 10 and he had hit his straight.

Re: River Decision

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think I could resist raising the turn, that crappy tiny blocking is just begging for it.

If you had any sort of read that villain could fold a bad ace I love betting the river....

Re: On Studying...

For me it just depends on what I have the time for. I spend as much time as possible playing, but if I have a hand I didn't know what to do on I'll save it and post it here. If I'm stuck somewhere...

Re: Best way to play a J high flopped flush?

to answer your question you flopped a flush and especially because even if someone else had a flush you're likely to have the best flush your best bet is to get it in on this flop, you don't want...

Re: Best way to play a J high flopped flush?

in the hand converter select 2+2 forums or it comes out looking like this jibberish.

Re: JJ at 25NL

He's playing so many hands that you are way ahead of his range with only one overcard, even though here it's an ace which normally would be his most likely holding on the flop. I'd bet more probably...

Re: 50NL Overcards KK against flop action

Re: $50NL 6max Deep Nth Level Thinking PF?

[ QUOTE ]
It probably looked like this:

Hero: ""The button is squeezing and SB knows that he is squeezing. So he 4bets (bet size is horrible but w/e.) So since the squeezer is most likely weak...

Re: 50nl - 34o str8

Yeah I guess it depends on your opponent obviously. But I know when this line goes down my gut is not happy with me calling here. If the line were bet bet call I think that's better than bet bet bet...

Re: 50nl - 34o str8

I really don't like getting all the way to the river in this hand. You're out of position and if you lead the turn and get called what is he going to call with that can't beat your straight? So he...

Re: 50nl - 34o str8

I think on the turn if you check and he bets he probably has the flush and you have to fold. He's probably not going to bother bluffing with a pot this small and he has to be worried you have the...

Re: 50NL AQ 6-Max

raising UTG he should either have a PP or AK AQ AJ at the worst usually.

All the PPs are going to be scared of that ace unless they hit a set, or maybe if they are stubborn and have QQ or JJ here....

Re: River Decision

Thanks, I'm slowly working the "aggression, aggression, aggression" strategy I somehow decided was the best at one point out of my system I needed to hear I should just give up on river. On flop I...

Re: River Decision

OK no interest here?

I know on the surface this is a basic hand but after the weak bet on the turn is there enough FE to fire at this river? If so how much do you bet?

Re: Boat v donk, too fast? 50NL

if he's a donk like you say I'd probably just call the turn (that small bet looks scared) and he might think he can get to a cheap showdown donking into you again on the river. At that point he has...

Re: TP2K. Am I doing the right stuff?

Dont post results!

You must raise MORE preflop. Make it $2.25.

As played I like a turn bet and a river check call because villain will play all smaller aces just like this and has...

To get responses here you'll need to post in a more friendly format. There is a converter here:

MAKE SURE YOU SELECT 2+2 AS "FORMAT"

Re: NL25 - JJ hits straight on the river

I just check behind that flop no way you're getting both guys to fold here someone caught a piece of this.

Other than that I like it.

River Decision

Do you just check behind here or take a stab at the pot? Play any streets differently? The reason I bet small at the pot rather than checking behind is I thought I would take it down if no one else...
