Re: 50NL: Semi-bluffing

If CO is any good then the range you assigned is pretty bad. I think a better range would be something like JJ-99, 77, 33, Th8h, 8h7h, 6h5h, Ah7h, maaaybe A9o

I actually think its a fold. If...

100NL, KQo, I\'m lost

This one felt kinda disgusting, not sure my betsizing is good either. This guy has limp/called a few hands but no stats yet as I've been at the table 3 orbits or so. He has folded most flops,...

Re: NL200 - deep stacks, flop trips, sb vs BB

I think shoving the turn is the worst option, we would basically be bluffing. He folds every worse hand and calls with everything better except maybe T9. We shouldn't be to worried about KQ because...

Re: NL200 RR pots

Probably check/fold. I don't see much of his range that you are ahead of at this point unless he likes to float in re/raised pots. I guess he may have called preflop with a worse ace, but I would...

Re: NL100 - Broadway and nut flush draw on turn - how to extract the m

A fold preflop and fold on the flop seems best. In both cases you arn't closing the action and have a speculative hand. On the turn now that you hit your gin card go allin, its only about a...

Club extensions?

So I played golf throughout high school almost every day, probably got down to a 7 handicap during that time, and I was about 6' tall by senior year of high school. I then played a few times in...

Re: 100NL: Flop Top Set against ........????

I really dislike the size of the flop raise. $28-$32 seems alot better, because then if/when he 3-bets you can:
a)make a reasonable shove less the potsize or
b)see a turn where you are getting it...

Re: $100 NL - KK, play this for stacks?

[ QUOTE ]
Yeah I'd call and see what the turn brings. Folding is horrible here IMO, especially if you are in the habit of raising donkbets with air (as I do). Villain may not give you credit for a...

99 turn play

Villian seems loose passive from the first three orbits I have been at the table, def calls to much preflop. Probably a 35/6/1 type player, but I don't have stats yet. Has called some c-bets but...

Re: $100 NL - KK, play this for stacks?

Fold, I don't like tossing 190bb in with an overpair, and I think pair+flush draw is at the bottom of his range. Edit: Or something like J10cc, but basically you are never a decent favorite.

Re: $100NL: AK preflop 4bet shove, standard?

[ QUOTE ]
Assuming we 4bet to $35:

MP shoves, CO folds we need 40% equity to break even on a call.

MP folds, CO shoves we need 46% equity to break even on a call.

What is our equity against...

Re: Fish bets $1 into $45 pot??

I don't understand your river check unless you were planning on making a big c/raise. Do you put him on 64 exactly?? My default for this hand is pot flop, 3/4pot turn, 2/3pot river. Just try to get...

Re: AA in the BB extracting max value

Lead the turn for $4ish. If he has a flush you have outs, if not don't try to scare him off by c/raising, you stack his Ax or two pair regardless. Also I prefer raising to $1 preflop as default. ...

Re: LINE-CHECKS ROUND 2

Hand 1: Seems like the toughest, but I think you have to call after the flop checked through and he checked to you on the turn. Seems like he would lead the turn with almost all hands you are...

Re: Missing value bets?

Hand 1: Please shove the turn, he has like a pot sized bet left. I probably shove the river too.

Hand 2: I bet the flop. As played I don't mind a check on the river, although if my image is...

Re: just the 3rd nut

Hand 1: Shove, there are just as many combo's of lower flushes not counting the times you are ahead. Also bet full pot on the flop.

Hand 2: Shove, he is almost allin already.

Re: NL200 I like to reraise (blind battle hand)

I don't think we ever have 10 outs if we 3-bet allin on this flop. I also think if we are going to bet it should look like we are protecting a JJ-AA hand. So I would go 3/4 pot or so if you are...

Doug,

If you could provide an option to use a client without re-sizable tables (or lock them) that would be great. The Full Tilt client is now my main resource hog when playing, and the mouse...

Say we raise the flop to 28-30, are we ever folding to a push? If we are folding it seems like an invitation to get blown off the best hand. If we are calling a shove, do we really like our equity...
