Re: 25NL whats the best plan on this turn?

Lead turn for value/protection. Your hand is strong but vulnerable w/ draw heavy board.

Re: nl10 i donk around and get there

I check behind.

With your history w/ villain it definitely seems like you have the best hand. However, with half your stack in there, any more action and you could be committed with a good but not...

Re: 25NL - set but that line is too strong...

I think Khumalo is right. That was my first reaction to the hand. Set + fish= ARRR INNN.

The thing is we all know this was a flush since it's posted here and OP calls it a cooler. We all want to...

Re: 25NL - set but that line is too strong...

We are getting odds to call against a flush with a little left afterward. Our equity on the turn against a flush is closer to 20% I think. 10 outs x 2= 20

Re: 25NL - set but that line is too strong...

yeah that's true... can you see villain having anything other than a flush though? We have odds to draw to boat/quads which is why I said call. But I guess we can't fold river w/ 4 left... alright...

Re: AA on very dangerous board

Yeah, push. I probably raise to 2 preflop. It will make it a little easier to get stacks in. CO only raised 3x and then you raised less than 3x his bet.

Re: 25NL - set but that line is too strong...

I guess we call turn, c/f unimproved river. Pretty disgusting spot.

Re: 25NL - set but that line is too strong...

I'm tired and misread part of the action. I'm more unsure now. Yeah it does look like a flush. Still don't know if I can fold it.

Re: 25NL - set but that line is too strong...

Push

Half your stack in there against what looks like a fish. He could still be drawing to the flush. Villain's line does look strong but I think I'm going broke here. If he flopped a flush it's a...

Re: More poker EV woes, a question about variance

Just play poker and stop looking at those graphs. The way to get better is to post hands which you do already. You can't help if you run good/bad.

Re: 25nl- Tpwk, do I raise this turn against utg limper?

*bump* one time

If I raise this turn I think I'm committed w/ a hand I don't want to marry. But I thought villain's turn donk looked so pussy that I wanted to raise. The way the hand played out I...

Re: Worst hand i\'ve played in a while, 2 pair in a 3bet pot, need help

Obviously I agree with orange. As I said in my first post and orange repeated, one of the big reasons to lead out at this flop is being oop. Once we check we're in an oop guessing game against a...

Re: Worst hand i\'ve played in a while, 2 pair in a 3bet pot, need help

Why do you feel so bad about the hand then if this is a normal part of your game?

Re: Worst hand i\'ve played in a while, 2 pair in a 3bet pot, need help

I think I need more info on villain. Even though I understand we can extract more value from worse hands w/ OP's line, depending on how tight and aggro the villain is I think we can be bet off the...

Re: Worst hand i\'ve played in a while, 2 pair in a 3bet pot, need help

I agree w/ Profish. Bet this flop please. Maybe if we were in position we can play differently. I don't see how we 3 bet preflop and then shut down for the whole hand after hitting the flop. If this...

Re: Straight, but oh no!

If you've seen him make moves you should include that as one of your reads in the OP in addition to villain's stats. After only 26 hands you've seen him make multiple moves? This leans me even closer...

Re: Straight, but oh no!

Yeah, can't fold here. Villain's line looks like it could be a club draw to me. I think him raising the flop and checking behind turn make a set and the nut straight less likely.

Re: NL 25 JJ Reraised Playing for Stacks

I'm confused by this hand. Do we assume that villain would have to 4-bet QQ+ w/ utg behind him preflop? Since he and hero are playing somewhat deep, villain's range is any pp and AK?
