Re: Flop semibluff play

Thanks for the replies so far, been very helpful, but just to clarify about flop draw betsizing:

ok, so generally, it is best to bet draws more strongly to (a) make it easier for villain to call...

Re: Flop semibluff play

Thanks for the reassurance /images/graemlins/smile.gif I did indeed reload and had the best run I've had for a while! Villain had TsTc btw, and his hand held up.

Flop semibluff play

Villain is 21/10/4 over a small sample size of 20 hands.

Re: AQ button after MP raiser - 25NL

I guess my 3betting range would probably be AA-TT, AK-AQ. Interested to see other peoples though.

Re: 10NL AK Hand in a threebet pot

[ QUOTE ]
its not standard, usually its about 1.5, but as long as they call its ok i think.

about the pot shove. i read that if you threebet you almost always should c-bet. In this case we both...

Re: AQ button after MP raiser - 25NL

Thanks for the replies:)

I agree that in this situation I should have 3bet this preflop to see where I stand. It's a tricky one, but in future against this type of player I will definitely 3bet...

Re: TT OOP - undercards on flop

Thanks for the replies /images/graemlins/smile.gif I agree that I played too weakly especially considering it was a passive UTG raiser. In future, against a player like this, I think I would elect to...

AQ button after MP raiser - 25NL

Villain is 27/20/8 over 50 hands. I'm playing TAG. I'd like to know how often you guys call/3bet this pf - atm its about 50/50 for me. What do you guys think of villain's small raise on the flop?...

TT OOP - undercards on flop

Villain is 21/9/3 over a sample of 70 hands. My image was fairly tight. I reraised pf in an attempt to end the hand there as i was OOP, gain info on his hand and for an aggressive image. I'd really...

Re: 25nl standard?

I'm thinking villain has either higher PP, AK, or a set on the flop here. Think I would have taken the same line as you did, although it does depend on stats:) Once on the flop, the huge odds dictate...

Re: 50nl - Right spot to fold overpair?

my mistake, i thought you meant the 3bet. I would also have just called the flop bet btw, knowing that villain had limp reraised pf.

Re: 50nl - Right spot to fold overpair?

[ QUOTE ]
In hindsight I'd call the flop bet and draw to the set. Saying that however I felt there was a good chance I could take it away from him, and didn't know how to interpret the small bet.

Re: Playing JJ after calling reraise and having OP on flop

I think the most likely hand villain has here are two big overcards. imo, your preflop and flop play are fine, although if you're confident villain will bet, you can cr for better information. I...

Re: 50nl - Right spot to fold overpair?

yeah I'd fold here. It looks like a badly played overpair on his part. Looks like he called preflop with a premium pair as he was scared to get a walk with his good hand. The minraise pf just makes...

Re: KTs TP vs oop CR on flop..

Raising preflop with this hand is quite LAG, but fine imo. If we consider the possible kings he could be holding to call your raise OOP:

AK (if villain is weak preflop)
KQ (reasonable call)
KJ...

Re: FTP 50k Is this reckless? or a Must?

What is your M? (ratio of stack size in relation to total of blinds)

EDIT: Ah nm, i see the blinds now^^

your M is just over 5, so imo you can afford to wait for a slightly better hand, but...
