Re: Basic General Question Re # of outs after flop

[ QUOTE ]
Basicaly I think I'm asking if its ok to call a bet or to lead out and bluff after the flop, based on the odds that you'll see the turn AND river, even if you should fold on the turn if...

Re: Bodog Regulars..

Thanks for the hint 1dentifier. It appears that it's actually the presence of a space in my screen name that it can't handle. When I remove the space it works fine for me.

Re: Bodog Regulars..

7 hands this episode.

I believe that's a new low for a one-hour poker show.

I'm with Doyle on this episode: "what has poker come to?"

Re: This forum has 3 months to live without a split

Where to split should be based on having a quality forum, not traffic levels. 2+2s marginal cost doesn't change depending on the amount of traffic in a new forum.

Moving FR posts to a FR forum is...

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)

Clarify terminology. Every newbie needs the big blind/big bet thing explained to them. bb = big blind, BB = big bet.

Re: AK gets 4 bet preflop; worth an all in postflop?

Doesn't a min-raise 4 bet preflop say AA or KK to you? If so, I don't have quite enough flush draw outs to call his push-raise on the turn.

On the other hand it's Bodog, and Villain has raised...

You beat nothing against standard ranges, but its lolSunday and you hit TPTK, in on the floppy.

Can't tell if you're joking and don't know what lolSunday means.

[ QUOTE ]
You have to either shove or fold this. calling is the worst thing you could do. If you were deeper you could make a case for calling, but even then.

[/ QUOTE ]

You mean preflop?

Re: PokerTracker: The Next Generation (NEW SOFTWARE DISCUSSION)

An idea that just occurred to me: build in a hand converter to save us the step of going to a hand converting web site. You could probably work with an existing hand converter on this. Even if it...

Re: Why do none of the 3/6 and 5/10 full ring players post here?

If this forum was split the high-limit part would presumably generate more high-limit posts than there are now. High limit posters would get to deal with more knowledgeable players, which they'd...
