Villain just calls on riv with nut straight (warning: micro stakes)

Reads: CO is the biggest idiot on the face of the earth.

Maybe he thought he was calling with J high.

Aces -- two sloppy hands with paired boards

I was on autopilot during when these hands came up simultaneously. Comments on all streets welcomed.

QQ against pressure

Villain is a taggy regular. If he makes moves, I haven't seen them before. On the other hand, he should know that I would c-bet AK here. No idea if he's thinking on that level though.

mostly 50nl and lower on stars so far. I've found myself making normal plays trying to knock people off hands like top pair weak kicker and these players just refuse to lay these hands...

QQ facing aggression

No reads. Haven't seen this player do anything much.

Does AJ ever play like this? Anyone fold turn?

Re: Set on a dangerous board

What are we ahead of? AK, AQ, AJ, QJ, the other odd two pairs, JJ/99. I guess nothing that calls much more than another $5.

You guys are right about the flop -- not sure how I neglected to raise...

Set on a dangerous board

Yes, there are a lot of potential straights, but don't they all bet the river? We're crushing the rest of his range. How much to bet on 5th street?

Top 2 facing a riv push

Villain has been fairly aggressive. Nonetheless, I cannot for the life of me figure out why a flush draw would raise the turn. He has consistently raised his PP's preflop, so I'm just going to figure...

Re: AA ... all in on turn... call?

I think you have to fold this against an unknown. More often this is a set trying to protect itself from imaginary draws than some doofus with AT.

AQ -- not beating much

Opponent can be pretty aggressive and occasionally full of it. That said, river is a clear fold because we don't beat anything but a bluff or AJ. Are we better off bet/folding the turn, rather than...

200 bbs deep against an aggro opponent. We've got the nut flush draw. What's the plan?

Re: NL25, AA: is calling the flop bad here?

How is folding just close? All he beats is a naked bluff.

Re: Firing a third barrel...do you call a raise with VERY marginal hands?

Um, I really think you don't have the best hand here and it's easy to tell -- even against a maniac villain. Pick a better spot -- they're not hard to come by.

Re: AA -- Riv decision

Okay, guys, I'll fess up. In reality, I called. Villain flipped over A3o, amazingly enough. I think this is a fold and here's why.

Yes, villain is obviously bad. He played A3o to a raise, and that...

99 - check-raised on the flop, bet-into on the turn

Readless, this is a pretty standard fold, right? We don't beat anything except A7 and 88, and only total morons would play those this way.

Re: AQ: High-variance line

Believe it or not he called with AKo. I have learned my lesson about getting aggresive with calling stations.

No significant read. I think only a totally clueless villain changes the answer.

Rivered a boat, but is it the best hand?

Villain is a total donk who has double-barreled and then check/folded the riv before. Still, I get the odd feeling that we don't have the best hand, and we're not getting a good overlay to find out....

Whoops, thought I had uNL open -- I was wrong. I bet they're going to tell me to call, though. Thanks!
