Re: 2 similar hands, what line and why

Noles, do you really think a small pair folds? In my experience @ 15/30+ pairs almost never fold in blind battles, regardless of the type of opponent. I think you're looking to fold out weak Aces...

Re: Fold tptk vs lag

4BBs if you raised PF, got a call, got a flop call, and then got raised on the turn.... i guess their raise makes it 6 BBs back to you, not big enough to call IMO

Re: Fold tptk vs lag

"ace king with a king headsup, doesn't ever get mucked by me.. ."

Re: Protect middlepair & fd

If i see that you're capable of b3b here with 3rd pair and a draw, then you're just going to get owned. I can cap the turn and b/f rivers against you with lesser strength hands. I can cap the turn...

Re: Protect middlepair & fd

UGH! never 3bet this turn unless you would call a river bet unimproved!!! Your turn 3bet becomes a free showdown raise unless you improve... you arent folding any better hands out here, and i cannot...

Re: TP + fd on turn in unraised pot

Bet this flop 100% of the time... you have no reason to think your hand isnt good....

As played, please raise the turn. If you are 3bet, you have any easy UI river fold, if you are just called,...

[ QUOTE ]
A lot of people mention tightening up in the games we play but does that mean you guys rarely raise the smaller suited connector stuff that stox reccommends? When you are doing this even...

Re: river sexy yes or no?

I think this guy is likely to bet AT with the Ts, or 99 with the 9s or JT with the Ts, or whole host of other hands which you beat. I dont think this is a board he bluffs often, so u have little...

Re: Fold tptk vs lag

1.4 not a LAG, nonetheless, you beat literally nothing but a stone cold bluff. Muckit

Re: QQ hand

I think checking this turn to induce a river bluff is correct. I Ilovepoker is wrong in saying "if you are going to call a check raise then you shouldnt be betting this turn"... perhaps against a...

Re: rakeback on Ultimate?

PT stats arent necessarily close to actual MGR anyway. They are calculated differently. And yes, if you are from the USA, sites are deducting some MGR simply b/c they can. Does anybody know how...

Re: AQ in tough spot

I think raising the turn is fine... If SB had the Q with you, then you're freerolling with your nut flush draw, so you have to push this edge... it's unlikely that a worse hand will overcall anyway...

Re: ew

you need to put a raise in either on flop or turn or both... either way a head or not too far behind... plus it makes it makes a river fold a bit easier if he donks into you after you've taken...
