-20/40 kill doesn't run right now at the edge. 4/8k only
-i don't think RR runs any limit bigger than 4/8k, but I haven't been over there in a while.

Re: Ruh- roh

if you are 3betting any potentially dominated hands for value, getting it in is mandatory once you hit. Especially with all the floating, and calling light bvb

Re: i should know what to do here

yeah i think you're generally up against a hand that won't be folding to your c/r.
Also, the chance either villain has a lower fd increases the value in just calling

Re: 200nl 6max DEEP- Raised flop NutFLushDraw facing 4 bet push!

raising flop with these stacks is pretty bad imo.

100bb is perfect,
300bb+ is good too, but your stacks are just too awkward

Re: FTP Regs Thread

i was looking at the FTOP's page earlier, and notice uuhhhicall took down the 1mill guarantee for 250k.
Not bad for a 1/2 reg!

Re: FT400 KK reraised checkup

I like this against a player who would raise and commit with pair/straight draw, flush draw etc. Against looser weaker plays I prefer a bet/call.

200nl trips. Villian wakes up on a brick river

Never played with villian before, but he's pretty fishy at 51/23/0.77 over 75 hands.

Somewhat generic preflop question

Please excuse me if this has been brought up recently...

Theoretical question:
200nl, 100bb effective stacks, Hero and villian both plays TAG 21/16/2.8.

1) Hero opens UTG, 5 calls(or 2 or...

Re: 100nl Protected pot

this is NL100 with 61bb in pot preflop. Getting all-in here is incredibly standard

you need a damn tight image to bet this turn!

I agree. This is a bad card to continue bluffing at.

Re: $200NL Player overbets the pot on the river, should I call?

limping AK in a loose passive game preflop is a good play IN EARLY POSITION, because you don't want a big pot OOP.

In this case it's pretty much murder not to raise. Sure a really bad player...

Re: 54s rr-ed pot

Ok, convincing isn't the best term, as we don't need to be a hand reading genius to know the nut low is no good right now. But without a made hand, I am pretty happy with this board, and my...

Re: flopped set ve PF Reraiser...whats my line?

I raise flop here 35-40ish. I don't want him to fear that Im on a draw here and he may slow down if the turn is a spade/10/A. I think he'll be willing to get ai on flop more likely on turn and river

Re: 54s rr-ed pot

I think you have little to no folding equity on the turn here. I hate to do it, but I just call, and either donk the river or check/fold.
Your hand is to strong to fold, and he will be getting such...

Re: 200nl - passive postflop line w/KK overpair...

Your line looks weak so he's no expecting you to bet a river, so betting thin here may work. However, I really like your line when the river completely bricks. You should get looked up lighter on a...

Re: I thought we were being friendly

Firstly, I don't like Q9 suited against someone nitty, fold or 3bet pre IMO.
Secondly, bet the turn.
those saying this river is kk, jj, whatever often enough to call, are pretty much paying off AQ...

However, I usually do have the goods in this spot(any hand AQ+), as most people figured I(or any standard...
