Re: 25NL Flush on Turn how to proceed?

Check/call the turn and shove the river. Shoving the river will make villain go, "why would he shove?" He might just look you up.

Re: Straight out of Sklansky, boom headshot edition (200NL)

The donk bet on the river suggests villain has a diamond in his hand (possibly AxT/images/graemlins/diamond.gif). I'd make a minraise on the river as it will be the best way to get a 54/28 fish to...

Re: Starting out with $100 - advice needed

I agree 100% with this post...I play with this guy on UB and his winrate is solid. I have played split pot games on AP, UB, and Stars and my winrate is nowhere near what it is play NLHE. As far as...

Re: Small Blind, You\'re In Anyways...

I play 6-max NLHE. The only time I'm completing the SB is if the entire table limps and I have connecting cards or one gappers, otherwise it's a fold. It should be obvious, but if I miss the flop...

If you know how to play, split pot games like O8 and Stud8 offer high win rates relative to their variance, particularly when you play SNGs. Yes, suckouts happen, but very often it is just...

Re: how do i beat passive pre-flop super aggressive postflop players

[ QUOTE ]
I disagree. This is my favorite game (very LP pre- and very TA postflop)

I tend to play this way (live) and now moreso online, splashing my chips around in many pots and looking like...

Re: ummm, what now? KQ makes top pair, check raised by donk

Pretty easy fold here. Villain's AF is only 1.3 which tells me he's not very aggressive post flop. That alone should tell you he has a good hand.

Re: FTP NL10 - Standard shove?

Don't minraise him on the flop. Raise to about $2 and snap call his shove. He has already bet more then 2/3 the pot on the flop so he likes his hand. He's either calling or shoving against your raise...

The point is that by the time you raise, the odds youre now getting justify a call vs his range. He will do this with hands we beat often enough to justify a call with the pot odds we are...

Re: How do I get maximum value NL10

The minraise from UTG is typically 22-99. I'm checking this flop then betting something ridiculous like $.35 on the turn hoping he raises me, but knowing he's folding. I seriously doubt he has KK-QQ...

Re: NL50 Big decision on turn w/ TP2K

I don't think we can call. The 2/images/graemlins/club.gif did not help him and a lot of villains will play 2 pair like this, and a set is very possible too. You haven't invested alot in the hand, so...

Re: NL10 - flopped 2 pair facing turn minraise

I'd like to see you shove the turn. I think you're way ahead of this guy. He could be calling with Kings up. I really think AK or A5 are really unlikely here. If he has it, then he has it. But guys...

Hero just raised the BB's flop bet so villain might be thinking he's raising to price out a flush draw. Now that villain has seen this he could believe that Hero has a Jack or an over pair,...
