Re: Going for river sexy-time with the nut full house.

I'm going to bet about the size of the pot on the river as I am worried that a hand like QT might check behind. But if Villain is of a type that would find this kind of hand hard to fold then pushing...

Re: 100NL flush on a paired board vs a donk

The thing that I find odd here is that Hero hasn't given any indication as to what kind of hand Villain might be up against. A late position raise and a possible C/B can't really give away too much....

Re: A7 flopped two pair 25NL

Villains play does seem a little odd.

I think I'm going to call here if he is a genuinely weak player. 77 is possible I suppose but I can't see much else. A5 diamonds? ? AA/KK?

Calling out of...

Re: (200 NL) AQ, I 3-bet button raise, flop a Q - def stack off??

I think I'm going to fold this.

Villain could have: AA/KK, trip 8's or a big draw that may not be too far behind. The decision I have to make is probably for all my chips and I only have a pair of...

Re: AQ line check

The raise on the end was into a very scary board so I like the fold. I also like the $10 bet on the end.

Re: AK vs a turn donk

I'm calling the turn here.

No draw has hit (except 46) so I would not want to fold such a strong hand just because it looks suspicious. I would only do that with someone I had a lot of notes on.

Re: 200 NL KK against regular

I'm checking the turn too as I think Villain might have something good here that he might raise with. (As noted)

I'm going to call the river as I wouldn't expect Villain to know we have such a...

Re: Is this ok?

I'm calling too pre-flop.

Folding the turn with top-pair and an open ended draw looks a little odd at first but I don't see a lot of hands you are beating here as AK has now hit.

It would be...

Re: KQs I have to call this river right?

TT?

I think Villain played this poorly. To win less money with this hand he would have had to have called on the river or folded on the river.

Re: KQs I have to call this river right?

I'm calling this as I would have expected a lot of the worry hands to have made some kind of move by now. Slowplaying with TT or 88 doesn't make a lot of sense and losing to the nut flush is just...

Re: Monotone board OOP

I'm just completing pre-flop as AJ can get into trouble in a big pot if it doesn't hit big.

I think I'm giving up the pot on the turn despite hitting a pair. I don't think the hand is good enough...

Re: How do i play this?

I'm probably just checking the river as I can't see a weaker hand that is calling. I may then call a smallish bet if I thought my opponent was bluffing.

Re: Harrington on Holdem III Discussion Group

I agree about problem 14.

I don't think the pre-flop fold is a terrible play just a tight one.

And as for the check on the flop; it seems to me that you are getting at least 50% of your...

Re: Harrington on Holdem III Discussion Group

I'm new here too but I have a question about problem 8. The player has the pot-odds to call on the turn but none of the outs are very safe. Where can I discuss this problem? (I lost 6 pts here...

Re: Boring HU hand

I'm not sure which is correct here. Why did he go all-in with the blinds so small? You're probably best here so you can call. There are not many hands that worry you here as he didn't re-raise...

Re: $60 77 - middle pairs are the hardest hands to play in NL holdem

Yes this is a bit tough but you can't throw away such a good hand. Re-raising all-in is a bit crazy, but I would call here. You are hoping for a flop with at most one high card, but not an ace. This...

Re: 15+1 Stars - AA early

I havent seen the other replies yet but I will give mine.

I am wondering what he could be check-raising this flop with. He could have a Queen, middle pair or trips.

There is no danger for trips...
