Re: Invisible Ink

“Might he have said, “I think I still have you beat” if his hole cards were the jack of clubs and another club, giving him top pair on the flop, and a flush on the river? Yes he might.”

Not though...

25k fpps = $285 bonus (which is conidtioned on raked hands))
29k fpps = £250 (~$475) amazon voucher.

Dumb move unless I'm missing something.
The only chance you've got of people taking up such...

Re: New law impact on live games. thoughts?

Whether the poor players find the live games tougher or not they will be better off and have greater longevity: they will be playing less hours and less hands per hour than online, they will lose...

Ecash payouts

A few years ago I had a crypto account that used ecash. They were dreadful - they took weeks to payout and periodically requested faxes of identification bills etc before paying out - in checks. It...

Re: KTs hand

*utg raise is typically too loose, but ok a small %age of the time or if the time is right.

*I wouldn't fold p/f with K-10s for two more bets.

* flop cap is bad but acceptable some of the time...

Re: Eugenics

Well one could argue that it depends how you measure success and benefit. For some people measuring the long-term success of the human race cannot preclude morality.

However, this is also no...

Re: \"Anomalies don\'t exist\"

There is a whole body of work that contradicts your assertions - it's been around for over 30 years.

Re: Combatting collusion

That was to be another post or question - the only justification I gleaned was because s/he might be innocent and so it was 'unfair'.

Combatting collusion

Just recently I reported a couple of suspected cases of collusion on the crypto site - either could have been
innocent, but since I don't have considerable confidence in the policing of the poker...

Re: 99, a little too strong?

I feel you need a very good read on your own image. I've regrettably made these plays in instances where I have no chance of getting a player to fold a better hand and where AQ is unlikely to bet -...

Re: my thinking

[ QUOTE ]
it protects calls with weaker hands out of the blinds

[/ QUOTE ]

Re: $5 rake in shorthanded 50/100 !!!

Sorry for the delay. 'On what grounds?' - gross profiteering. In the uk many services industries are affiliated to watchdogs/regualators. My knowledge is superficial - no more than consumer level -...

Re: $5 rake in shorthanded 50/100 !!!

The mistake that people make is comparing the services, they are completely different - they are only similar in so much hands of poker are played. For every $ rake over 90c* is money they can are...

Re: $5 rake in shorthanded 50/100 !!!

Rake is a rip-off, profit margins are huge, why charge $5? Because they can. Ultimately its the poor players that drive the games and they aren't incentivised by rake. The trouble is virtually every...

Thanks, I should also add I won a ahndful of big bets, so I wasn't looking for it as such - I just noticed how uncomfortable I'd felt. Naturally it could be variance, even so very few players are...
