Re: This is so sickkkkkkkkk
We're ready to play for stacks. Most turn cards suck against his uber-massive range (previous posters have forgotten to include all draws here, including flush, straight, and combo), and we still...

Re: Live 1/2 QQ 275BBs deep
If you call the 3 bet, bet the flop. If you raise it, then check the flop (and ask for the Q on the turn).
If he's not raising you light, his range is JJ+, AK, AQs, the end. You've got some equity...

Re: 100NL hand reading hand
1. What does he not have? AA (definitely raises flop), KK, QQ, AJ (definitely raises flop and/or bets turn), J6, J3, KJ, QJ, JT, 22 (he has to be some combination of floaty mcgee and luckbox to show...

Re: Live AKo UTG
The worse the player is, the more likely it is that s/he has the goods when s/he bets. Unless it's a bad player who's just playing buck wild. Those are pretty easy to spot, and I find them to be...

Re: So Simple I\'m Almost Embarrassed to Post It
[ QUOTE ]
By checking, we are using pot control and also potentially inducing a river bluff from missed overs.
[/ QUOTE ]
By checking we are giving a free card to an opponent who is drawing...

Re: 10/20 shady home game, confuse me more pls
Stop trying to make hero calls and raise it up. I'd go to $250.
Raise/fold the flop.
Moral of the story: stop calling with marginal hands. Either raise with them or fold, otherwise you...

Re: FT100, 6m, AA on KQ reraised
1. Great spot for a PF 4 bet. Turns out it would've helped on the flop.
2. The flop call is atrocious. It's a draw-heavy board that hit a bunch of hands you're beating, and a bunch you're not...

Re: 200 NL JJ pf spot
SPEW ALERT...
Your hand is under-repped, since you just 3 bet last hand. Unless you showed, he doesn't know you had AA. Getting 3 bet twice in a row (after folding one), this time from the button,...

Re: I fold top 2 for 100bb...
Insta-muck. Rolli's range is (in order of likelihood): QT, JJ/99/88, T9s, AK-ATs. That's it. You suck against that range. Easy fold.
If it's just the fish, insta-call, since it's an obvious draw....

Re: A couple overpairs I folded, $100 NL
Hand 1 is fine, except maybe check the turn. Any card that pairs the board against a calling station is a bad card for you. You can decide from his bet size whether to call down or fold. Since he's a...

Re: 10/20 flopped set
Is villain really flat calling your flop raise OOP with AKs/KQs/Axs? Not just flat-calling, insta-calling. Isn't this the sort of hand he would sometimes 3-bet, sometimes call, but never insta-call?...

Re: TPTK
Push and pray for 2s 3s. I stoved a big (and probably overly-generous) range for villain. Looks only slightly more like a combo draw than a monster to me (but what do I know). Be glad he has not much...

Re: Boat on the river, massive all-in overbet
Bet the flop and make your life easier.
As played, vomit. Clean it up. Vomit again. I think I make a really thin, crying call and hope for a KTs or KQs. Here's my thinking. AJ and AT have to bet...

Re: Borgata $2/$5 flush draw semi-bluff
I'll be really detailed, just for fun...
Sounds like the basic east coast $2/5 game: limp, call, fold. You should raise PF to $30-40. Any outcome you get here is favorable: 1. a multi-way pot with...
