Re: 2/4 Big Draw with FE?

I shoved trying to get UTG to fold a big hand, I figure the only real hand he can call with is a set or AK. Is this a good play? Is there any reason to shove here, keep in mind calling is bad...

2/5 Semi-Bluff

2/5 Live Game

Hero - $600
Villian - $350

Hero has been playing laggish, villian is aware that hero does not have to have a big hand to raise in position. Hero has only shown down big hands so...

2/5 NL Holdem Live Game

Button has $100
Hero has $350
Villian covers

Villian is loose passive and chases draws frequently. Have not seen him get out of line with raises preflop. Hero has...

Re: 2.5/5 Deep and I have JJ in SB

I think you need to isolate preflop against a terrible player preflop. What was the raise?

Why are you surprised the big blind reraise, is this a min reraise?

I would not automatically assume...

Re: Borgata $2/$5 flush draw semi-bluff

Question 1:

I would not put in a semi-bluff raise against more than one and sometimes 2 opponents for the squeeze effect. With a bettor and 2 callers the chances of having fold equity are zero...

Re: 2-5 PLHE: Good play or spew?

Great spot for a semi-bluff. He really can't all you without KJ or a set. And based on his flop call I would say those holding are unlikely. I expect he made a good read, called you with 2 pair...

Re: $1000 NLH A/C Drawing Hand

I do not think we are folding here getting 3.4:1. I also think raising any amt other than all in is wrong. 2 options at this point:

Call: Calling is good if you think you are going to get paid...

5/5 NL Live

5/5 NL Game 10 handed, Table has been extremely loose passive preflop and post flop.

UTG($400)is a terrible player, calling station who will pay off any hand with any pair any kicker anytime.

Re: Interesting hand from Day 1 EPT London

I think this is a push on the river. It seems to me like the SB made a speculative call preflop with connecting diamonds and was trying to disguise his hand on the flop by betting out.

The SB...

Re: OT: Psychology; Higher Limits = Better Players?

It is still possible to have a good ROI at higher levels. There are some recreational players that play almost any level sng esp on Party.

Also another thing to think about. When you know all...
