Re: Standard Hand?

[ QUOTE ]
[09:28] me: I think the main reason I would bet the flop is that while my equity isn't necessarily great, getting checkraised or raised isn't actually very bad for my hand, and I will...

I'd bet the flop to see if I could pick up the button and see 5 cards for 1.5BB's. As played I'd fold the turn.

Re: Longest Poker Sabbatical?

I had a $8000 downswing myself last summer. One day it was like a swich had turned off and I didn't feel like plying at all anymore. I meant to take a break for a week or two, but it lasted six...

Re: Ouch

How do you think I should have played the hand?

On the flop he bets into me - the capper. I think that he is probable to have:
(1) a low PP he wants to bet/fold
(2) a hand he wanted to 5-bet...

Re: bet + ch/r bluff

bet + ch/r bluff 2

You have 54s in the SB.
Everyone has folded up to you.
BB is a TAG player. Let's say we don't know much about him.
You raise and he calls.

Flop 1:
The flop comes K97o

Flop 2:
The flop...
