(1) a low PP he wants to bet/fold

I think you're right about the river play.
I didn't think that he had a diamond draw though. Becasue it feels like such a strange play to check behind such a strong draw in a blind battle heads up...

I figured he should bet because I can have Diamonds, 89, 9T, 8T, KT, K9 almost any 7, J or 2. If I call then on most or all rivers he has another value bet.
