Make 700$ playing _only_ NL25

[/ QUOTE ]

didn't set any goals last month but have won just over $700 playing 23k hands of $25NL.

Re: 50NL: Turned set with a 4 card straight on board

this is an easy call on the turn for pot/implied odds alone. I think the times you pair board on river/get quads will pay you off here enough to justify times you don't hit. 2 ppl obv like their...

Post in Full Ring next time. I check/call river or sometimes CRAI on river. Villain obv likes his hand here and there's a much wider range of hands he'll bet with on the river...

Re: $25NL 3bet pot... spew or good bluff?

[ QUOTE ]
Honestly, with like AK I'm probably looking you up here on the turn. The all-in shove on this kind of board absolutely reeks of desperation. Especially given your history with the guy. If...

Re: Is this too nitty preflop - AQ?

AQo plays fine OOP given a heads up raised pot but not a 3bet pot OOP. Cbetting + times you actually hit top pair is what makes this a winner, but generally only if you start on the flop as the...

Re: $25NL 3bet pot... spew or good bluff?

given villain is solid, wouldn't you say most of his range that beats ours would CRAI or at least lead out on the flop?

Re: $25NL 3bet pot... spew or good bluff?

Sorry let me add I was 21/16 in the session and generally not out of line cbetting flops ~60% of the time.

$25NL 3bet pot... spew or good bluff?

Villain is 16/14/2.5 in a relatively small sample. Seems solid yet transparent. This is my 2nd 3bet pot in which he 3betted. Last time he c-betted OOP and I folded.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em,...

Re: NL10 tptk on dryish board vs. looser unknown

folding's a bit tight here at this level but I can understand if you've not seen strength from villain yet in a hand. BTW if you are willing to go all the way with this hand I would just call his...

Re: NL10 Set on Monotone Flop

raise flop to $3 and call a flop push. This hand is so easy to play it's not even funny. Expect ppl to show up with 44 here and Ad8 or some other random draw + pair as well. Also villain could have...

Re: 88 in bvb oop

This is played fine. Consider CRAI on river sometimes to fold out TT-KK which would also take this line hoping you are forced to call with a smaller PP like you have.

Re: 2nd nuts: Can I find a fold?

I can't fold this. JT is a common 2pr hand he might think is best as well as any set. I call and feel pretty good about it.

Re: **Official uNL Stats thread**

Stat Check for this month at $25NL. Just wondering if this style of play is going to be profitable at the $50NL level. Thx.

Re: AJo 5$ NL, Top pair facing action

limit play is exactly what is clouding your judgment. In limit, the final pot isn't as great in comparison with the preflop pot size so you can play speculative hands that are 2:1 behind and profit...

Re: nl25 weird spot w/top two in rred pot

bet/3bet shove seem fine here. Villain will prob raise here with any 2 pair as well as JT and once he raises with 2 pair he is committed to call the shove. But I think you will definitely see 2pr...

if that is his range fold preflop. as played always lead this flop. Folding is fine if you are raised.

Thanks for the input. It's funny that you say not to 3-bet loose opponents with hands such as KQ and AJ because I do it quite often assuming I'm ahead of their range, and usually a C-bet...

Re: 50nl 337bb Deep

the problem here is that check/calling down to the river is enough to get nearly our whole stack in here. First off a fold or a 4bet to $16 is likely the desired play here. I would definitely feel...

Re: Do you 3-bet KQ/AJ vs a TAG raiser at NL10?

it all depends on villain, your image, and their position when they have raised. If it's a 20/18 TAG raising on the cutoff I'll 3bet these hands from the button about 25% of the time and call 75% of...
