Re: $16 - AK, 3-way all-in on bubble

Even so, you don't have the minimum edge to call here...numbers/stats say fold.

Re: $13 Turbo 6-max 33 on BU

Just for the record, my girlfriend is asking this because sometimes I tell her good advice and she loses a hand then flames me for four hours about it, I need some backup.

$13 Turbo 6-max 33 on BU

Got shortstacked early and recently doubled up, then this hand came up. BB is fairly loose passive (35/10) . This is pretty standard, no?

Re: $16 - AK, 3-way all-in on bubble

If I were in the game, I'd snap call...but the numbers have it as a smallish leak for me.

Re: $16 - AK, 3-way all-in on bubble

Wiz has it as an easy (-.54) fold with CO pushing 18% and BU calling ~6%, which would include AT.

Re: $16 - AK, 3-way all-in on bubble

Fold. I think you're behind buttons range and you'll be left with 3100 ITM or in 3rd with shortstack AI next hand.

Re: tourny leader board freerol ftw!!

With a lot of spare cash lying around, I think it's nice to spoil them a bit. Depending on their finances, they've probably made considerable sacrifices for your well-being. Buy them something that...

$6.50: A9o with BB sitting out

Does BB sitting out make this push okay or no?

Leak-Spotting...Anyone want to review a few HHs for me?

For some reason, Camtasia really slows my computer down and my videos end up looking like crap. So I'm wondering if anyone would be up for reviewing a few complete $6.50 turbo HHs for me? There's a...

LC: Folding Overpairs

Hey All,

I've been running miserably at the $3.40s and $6.50s lately and figured I'd do a few leak-checks. I realized that I almost never fold overpairs unless it's an extremely coordinated flop....

Re: $22: 66 OTB, bubble hand

[ QUOTE ]
Depends on my reads of the opponents.

I'll push if they are tight calling all-ins but like to see flops anyway. I'll min-raise/fold or so if they are very weak-tight. I'll fold, if I...

Re: $22: 66 OTB, bubble hand

There are way better plays than pushing here no matter what you have, Kamel.

Re: Please Give Me Advice

$12s on FTP are relatively equal to $16s at Stars? How much of an ROI decrease do you expect when moving? You probably can't answer this question, but it should probably be the deciding factor...

Re: $22: 66 OTB, bubble hand

I'd raise to ~$450 then fold to a shove. Interested in hearing how others play this though because this may be a leak for me.

Re: Please Give Me Advice

How high of volume are you playing? If you're going to be at GoldStar or PlatinumStar on PokerStars, you'll be getting pretty decent rakeback (don't know actual percents, though I'm sure someone can...

Re: 99 mid tourney

I think 99 is a fairly easy fold, and TT is as well if he's been inactive like you said. JJ, AQs+ I shove. Nh.

Re: Getting Married for Tax Breaks

Our federal loans aren't enough to cover our tuition (we need an extra $3k or so each). I use a secondary loan, and my girlfriend's mom pays for her overage. However, we were told by a reputable...

Re: $2.25 is this standard?

Don't min-raise, just shove him. But yes, this is an unexploitable push.

But, if you held something like T2o and flopped top pair, I would suggest raising the flop.
