Re: [100NL] Flopped trips against tight

lead turn for value and fold to a raise. As played I call and probably c/f the river to a large bet.

Re: River decision

I think if we check he'll likely bluff flush draws and possibly weaker aces so I like a c/r AI.

Re: Awkward turn

Well if we say we have 15 outs which is semi reasonable outs then we have 30% equity and we need about 30% to call his shove if we check. Given that he might try to make a dumb bluff with a naked Kc...

Re: Interesting Reg vs Reg Stars 200nl hand

Yeah I think from looking at that pokerstove I think we have to raise the flop and get it in.

Re: Give me a 4bet size please

If he shoves QQ+, AKs, AK then $80 is pretty much bang on the amount where it doesn't matter if we call or fold to his shove.

Give me a 4bet size please

In this hand assume that I've already decided to 4bet but I'm wondering how much to make it. The villain and I have a lot of history, I play 18/15 with an ATSB of about 28%. Villain is very...

QQ OOP in 3bet pot

Villain is a pretty nitty regular. Runs at 23/15/4.5. He 3bets quite a bit usually, nothing crazy though. He just sat down so we have no history this session.

Should I just check/shove the flop...

Re: Two reraised pots

Is bet fold in the second had not a 'better hands call, worse hands fold' situation?

Two reraised pots

Hand 1)
200NL, $210 effective. Folds to CO who raises to $7, 1 fold and I repop to $28 with A/images/graemlins/club.gifK/images/graemlins/spade.gif in the SB. BB folds and CO calls. No history and...

Re: NL 200; top pair against super loose player

Bet river to value town AT/A4 and because he won't bluff flush draws.

Re: Overpair in 3bet pot

There's no need to bet the flop so big. $21 is fine. I think you have to check/fold the turn because I don't see him calling your shove with worse.

Re: Person-to-person lending

o sorry. I did search for "person-to-person lending" before I posted, it seems "peer-to-peer lending" gives better results.

Person-to-person lending

Hi,

I recently noticed a small article in a national newspaper about what is apparently the new up and coming craze, person-to-person lending over the interwebs. Basically you put $$ on a website...

Turn bluff in a RR pot, 200NL

72/25/5 guy who has a note which says "floated with no pair OOP" opens to $7 OTB. I repop in the SB with KQo. He calls and we go HU to a 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gifJ...

Re: UTG limp/calls, leads out the flop weak

Re: AA faces aggression on multiple streets

I guess he could have AK/KQ/KJ. I always think these things are so hard to evaluate on the turn though. I mean he could very well flop raise TP here and pot the turn with it. Also the ones who flop...

Re: Two pair can suck sometimes

Raise bigger on the flop, there's lots of draws. Call river and make a note.

Re: Rate my bluff

I don't like preflop but I would bet this turn since we got here. There's no benefit to betting $74 over $30 though so I go with the smaller size and call a shove or shove the river if he calls.
