Re: Overpair, Is villain slowplaying a monster?

you got two fives of hearts in that hand... Re-assign the suits to see if he could be on a flush draw.

Re: 10nl 2 barrel

Any stats on villain? If he floats A LOT, then 2xbarrell is fine. But try to assign him a range that he would float with, and then decide whether to 2xbarrell depenbding on the board. However, I...

Re: Is my 2 pair still gangster

[ QUOTE ]
I really don't know what to make of his stats either, is he a loose nit? or is he so aggressive he is just rarely called down?

[/ QUOTE ]

Looks like he is a very aggressive caller...

Re: Is my 2 pair still gangster

I would pick a better spot to shove the rest of my chips in. A couple of straights (108, K10) and better 2-pairs (9J, QJ) in his range hit on that turn; not to mention he could be playing a set this...

Re: QQ in multiway pot

Super duper standard. Looks like both donks have draws or TPMK (they are not min-betting 910 or a set). nh.

Re: Facing fair sized river bet w/ PP

I would raise this flop to like $9-ish for value/info, and probably fold to a shove - 'cause best case scenario is he has AKs and it's still a coin flip.

Re: WTF is this?

I have been seeing that a lot myself - but mostly it's the short stack limping and then pushing all in over the pf raiser -- and most of the time it's something like 22-77 range. At 100BB from a...

Re: would you say a flush is no good here without a read?

You played this sc to get exactly the hand that you got. So make a commitment plan if you hit your flush, and the rest of the decisions are easier. I value-raise/shove this river quite a bit,...

Ok!
I am now the proud owner of a Babolat Pure Drive, Roddick's Edition. It was around $250 strung. Also played with it for like 5 minutes before i bought it. It felt great!

Re: 10NL - Axs in SB hits Ace, how do you play these?

I usually lead this flop - any J, 2, a worse ace, flush draw, and straight draws are calling. If you are going to check, a c/r is good here as well, since he can be leading with bottom/mid-pair,...

Re: 50nl Extracting max value from a short(er) stack w/ abs nuts

I usually smooth call this and shove river. Why scare him off on the turn - you have position and seems to like his hand. He probably has AK, AJ, A10, sometimes 22 (but i dont see him betting his...

Re: 77 on BTN vs Reraise outta the Blinds

- Has he been 3-betting LP raises a lot out of the blinds? From his stats it doesn't seem like he calls much - maybe a good spot to 4-bet and take it down pf.
- As played, I think you can also...

Re: Turned straight, ugly spot

I think you played it fine... until you folded the river. You have 2nd nuts here - only 67 beats you (doubt villain has 62). You called the flop bet to catch the wheel - and then you folded it? He...

No, I'm not. I think you should have led out for $25 on the turn as draws are a big part of his range.

Since this is a 3bet pot, draws are not a big part of...

Re: NL25 QQ gettin minraised

Def looks good. Villain's bet is the same as a donk bet into you OOP on the flop. Like you raise with QQ and the flop is the same as above and he just pots into you. I think they are the same...

Re: AK in SB vs unknown

^^^^
Bingo -- insta-call. Looks like a nut-flush draw or 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif 6/images/graemlins/club.gif, but most likely a worse K.

I fold here most of the time (I agree with the assessment that this looks like a set)unless I have a read that my opponent is spewy.

BELOOOOOGA theory applies here i believe:

New NL25 video to discuss

Hey what's up everyone. I guess I will start things off with a NL25 video for us to discuss. I just recorded it last night and there were a couple of tricky spots, but overall pretty standard play....

Re: 10NL: QQ BB vs Bu Line Check

You are almost always waay behind here, and slightly ahead of AKs. I don't think anyone 4-bets light at NL10 - so he is not doing this with 99 or JJ (the only hands in his range that you beat)...

Re: PL 25 - KK and 3flush flop

Flop and turn are standard -- I would probably bet slightly more on both streets. This looks like a J with a club - I think any set is raising your flop bet. I value bet this river and re-evaluate...
