Re: $22 20k GTD - Early stages facing reraise with AQ. Well play

fold pre everytime. He is not 3-betting with AJ ever, you don't really beat anything in his range, and at best you are flipping. I don't really know what kind of range to give him, but i would say...

Re: $5.50 - AKs in SB, is this a fold?

I think i would just push pre; you are shoving for a 17% gain to your stack, and you want fold equity and to see 5 cards.

also, playing oop post flop sucks, i really like pushing

Re: AQo Early on...

check the turn.... induce river bluffs + not stack off with tptk is awesome.... as played fold to c/r, you dont beat anything.

Re: Minireraised late in 10r

maybe on stars this is just a fold. this bet screams please shove. On full tilt I shove and don't think twice about it. But he has to have QQ+ here everytime on stars, right?

Re: check behind or fire

You should bet 2,000 and not fold.

Re: Minireraised late in 10r

I think you have to push, but i really think he has KK. He's probably not folding, and you're probably flipping at best. Maybe this is just a fold, but if it is, i am not good enough to fold

Re: hand vs Jonathan Little Wpt FT Bubble

If you are folding to a c/r then check behind, because he certainly doing this a large percentage of the time with the majority of hands he is defending. As played, fold, you're flipping at best.

Re: Early hand Stars $320 vs Bill Ivey

I really like this line, but I think i hero call the river. He's really aggressive, and will semi bluff the flop a large % of the time, so c/c is great. If you are calling the turn, i think you have...

Re: i\'m playing too passively against chip leader?

if you're not willing to c-bet when you miss, fold pre. I really don't like stealing a deep stacks blind with this type of hand. Id rather do it with a 75s for obvious reasons.

Re: AQ can I fold here?

On full tilt, I would never fold, but on stars, i feel like you have to give people a lot more respect, cause they are all such nits. Id have a tough time folding here, but its probably correct.

Re: limper raise flops pair + flush draw IP

Fold pre... as played, call, KQ got there, and a million other hands that beat you.

Re: Super Thursday Party $162 - 1010 UTG

If you are c/f'ing this flop, im pretty sure you have to fold preflop; and I am pretty sure you are behind here atleast 75% of the time.

Re: KQ Steal situation

I really like it unless utg is reasonably tight and your image is really loose. You are pushing for 35% gain; which means you really only need around 36% equity against their calling ranges (given...

Re: $10+1 Stars: JJ on paired flop

[ QUOTE ]
checking the flop gets us a street closer to showdown with a hand in which we have exactly that goal in mind. we can take no heat on the flop and we can induce bluffs from weaker hands, as...

1. C-betting gets you no info? What the heck are you talking about!! Now a world class player may take a C-Bet like this and jam it back in your face with air...but Phil Ivey isn't...

Re: thoughts on these hands

1. Fold
2. Shove
3. Shove
4. Call

I am pretty sure hand two is a very straight forward shove. I can't imagine playing it any other way, and folding seems bad.

Re: Day 2 of large event, play with 14-18 BBs

Hand 1: shove pre
Hand 2: call
Hand 3: standard
Hand 4: fold; if you have another 4-5bb's I probably push
Hand 5: standard
Hand 6: think its correct, not sure of your stack; if you have 8-10bbs,...

Re: Stars 20/180 - 88 in BB w/10BB\'s... BvB

Easy push... Against standard players you should be doing this with 44+; ATo, A8s, KJo, KTs, QJo and JTs

Re: $10+1 Stars: JJ on paired flop

theres absolutely no value in a c-bet. C-betting gets you no info either... if you get c/r, you have to fold, despite not knowing where you are. He easily could be calling with a worst pair, yet you...

Re: $11 6 max on stars, what to do against donk?

fold both hands pre. These hands are both terrible for the exact reason you posted these hands; you just have no idea where you're at, and you can't get away from top pair if you are willing to call...
