Re: 50 nl video

Just finished watching and ripped off a large portion of your HUD. Some interesting hands and solid commentary. Thanks for posting.

Re: Calling off half your stack with 9Ts

ah true.

You have ~40% equity vs. 22+, AK

.6 * -24 + .4 * 39 =
~$1.2

But i think that range may be too wide, and without 22-88 in there i think its hopeless.

Re: 10nl TP2K

Yeah, i wasnt happy but I paid off AK getting 3:1. I need to learn when to give credit to big hands that dont raise preflop.

Re: NL10 TPTK

I thought you were in position? I'm looking at the HH again and i'm still quite sure you were in position?

What I meant was I wouldnt 3bet KQ or AJ or worse. Wouldn't he 4bet QQ+ OOP? My...

Re: NL10 TPTK

Why not 3bet preflop? He's nitty so he'll probably 4bet big pairs pre and save you money vs getting b/3b on the flop. Not saying this is definitely correct, but i wonder if anyone else agrees with...

Re: TPGK c/min raise and further street pressure

I call the river. There are missed hearts in his range and the turn looks like a blocking bet. I think a 20/15 would raise better aces preflop especially with two players before him, and an 8 also...

Re: How does Pot Limit work???

IBL
You can choose your bet sizes as in no limit, but the maximum you can bet or raise at any time is the amount currently in the pot.

Re: $10NL 6max: Flop Top 2pair 3way -What action do I take?

Bet. Its a dry flop but you're 3 handed and cant exactly call your hand a lock. You'll get value from other Ks, QT. You'll get more value in the long run from these hands betting the flop than by...

Re: NL 10 - Top two BvB Tricky situation??

Whats his AF? Sucks to dump 2 pair HU, especially vs an obvious drooler but this looks like a set unless he's particularly spewy post flop. Are suits relevant?

Re: 10NL Flopped TPTK + Nut Flush Draw

Looks like a set to me if villain is not spewy, it sucks to check the river and i doubt if i'd be able to resist the vbet either but its a sticky spot with the stack sizes the way they are and you...

Re: 5nl Missed AK, double barrel?

fwiw, the guy seemed kinda station-y and was obviously bad, but i wouldnt doubt any pair any draw any ace. What opponents are we looking to 2nd barrel here? What kind are we avoiding?

Re: NL10: Turned 2P in BvB on drawy board

I think you're good here very often, theres a lot of big Ks, even AA, in his range and I cant see fold getting 2:1.

Re: Continue to extract chips or just move in and take it down?

The turn bet is weak, he's gonna call at least .75 w/ overpairs, 9s and Qs if he'll call .35. Also, it makes the river all in call more likely. I think preflop is pretty marginal OOP but i dont...

Re: Stars $10 - top 2 vs raiser push

Even against a pretty tight range you have to call:

equity win tie pots won pots tied

Hand 1: 43.994% ...

Re: nl 10 super marginal river call

I've seen bad villains take this line with a naked flush draw before. Why the big turn raise? When he calls that it looks like AdXd. I would have raised the turn less and called a nondiamond river...

Re: AA faced reraise on flop ...

I would bet more on the flop, if you get called by MP3 with that bet size MP2 can tag along correctly with J9 KJ (which it looks like he could have with his expert limp, call 3bet OOP preflop line). ...

Re: 2NL - I\'m terrible with Overpairs...do I just bet here?

The idea of SPRs in PNL is that when you hit your target, or are under your target, you ARE committed. You dont fear any hands from your opponent, you simply try to get the money in the pot in the...

Re: Nutflush beat, but played it correctly?

3bet AK preflop every time at this level.

Just shove the turn. The minraise is almost never a useful tactic.
edit: HRA beat me to it.

Re: QQ facing river push

Bet more on flop, you're OOP 3handed and this is a reverse implied odds situation. Also, full ring forum (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=FR)

You missed some value on both flushes, obv bet the flopped small flush to charge heart overs, and the T7 hand...
