Re: What you think about this theory of mine

[ QUOTE ]
I understand what you're saying but IMO the people that are dumb enough to miscalculate in a situation like that because of chips being returned...aren't smart enough to even know what...

Re: What you think about this theory of mine

I may not be explaining myself clearly, sorry for that, so here's a better example.
blinds 25/50
Villain CO 1000
Hero BB 1500

Villain raises to 150, Hero goes all in.
Now on Pokerstars for...

What you think about this theory of mine

Your playing an online tournament, lets say the blinds are 25/50 you have 1000 in chips and open raise it to 150. It gets folded around to the BB who has 10,000 in chips (including his BB) and goes...

Re: $4/180 - Final heads up hand

I agree with chrismystero except for his preflop reasoning. We've got an M of over 20 heads up (same with opponent), lots of play, never open fold your SB! You are getting the right pot odds to call...

Re: do you lay this one down?

lets say the converter is right and you are UTG, with BB all in:
I would have raised more on the turn, anyways since you didn't I think you can get away from this hand pretty easily. It looks like...

Re: Minireraised late in 10r

Your M's around 12, your out of position preflop with a hand that wants to see all 5 cards. This is fo sho a push unless you have specifically seen him minreraise with KK/AA. I'm guessing you havn't...

Re: 72o is the nuts

I like making it 400, after you see the 100 raise your putting 300 into a 350 pot so not too big of a bet. This board is real drawly with straight and flush potential, you have two opponents, with...

Re: 1st hand wsop. Some donk goes all in, u got AA. Do u call ???

yes easy call, even if its not a donk, people underestimate the power of being a 4:1 favourite. But this is the ONLY hand you go all in with early in a big, long tournament. If you have over 100BB's...

Re: Stars 55$

I would check it on the river. You aren't getting any value by betting middle pair here, he will call you with hands that have you beat like any K or AT (his calling in the BB usually means his...

Thanks for the comments guys, I realize I played certain hands wrong like #104, so If there's any other people who could give me a generalized idea on how to improve my game that would be great...

Re: Official Review Thread, Flettl2

Thanks betgo,
#72: I should have paid more attention to the texture of the flop, I figured if he had a king he was going with it, but the weak bet now seems to me like mid pair. I like the idea of...

Re: Official Review Thread, Flettl2

Thanks for your comments WJL, I agree with you for the most part except for hand#110: The players at this table have been limping alot, and I've been shoving, winning the pot uncontested, infact the...

Re: Official Review Thread, Flettl2

Basically my strategy is:
Beginning (M around 50): Find lots of cheap flops in position or with good implied odds (so passive, sort of loose), then in general, jam flop when get 2 pair or better....

Re: Been away for months, just checking standard hand....

[ QUOTE ]
I would have bet the turn especially because the third suited cards was the Ace and that eliminates a lot of likely flush hands from Villains range

Re: $5/27 manr, OESFD + pair, ??

I don't really know what to do but I'll post what I'm thinking anyways to generate discussion I guess... You only have 2 outs. Everything else is partial outs and not very good ones, ones that get...

U call 450...BB folds...MP1 calls 275...CO calls 275. Pot=1950. Flop 752r...u lead for 1000, MP1 raises 4000 AI, CO folds...you fold now (getting over 2 to 1) knowing that he has QQ-AA,...

Re: im in tricky spot w jj(arent they usually)

[ QUOTE ]
If you make it 800, MP1 might think you're isolating and 4-bet a lot of hands that you beat. I think that i make it 800 and call if MP1 gets frisky and shoves.

[/ QUOTE ]

MP1 and...
