Re: QQ getting 4-bet OOP PF by TAG

tossing this hand here against the Multi Table TAG.
On another note, I'm never tossing KK haha.

Re: 100NL: Flopped bottom straight, tough turn/river, linecheck

Don't mind the c/r on the flop, but turn needs to be at least 40 here. You've already made your commitment decision and the idea is to get the chips in the pot. 20 is not accomplishing that. A...

Re: AA facing c/r from mulit-tabling TAG

At this point of the hand, you are reaching a commitment threshold. Are you committed to this hand? my answer considering the information provided, is no. If you decide to make this call and reeval...

Re: NL25SH Rivered Set faces donk, shove it or just call?

Personally, I'm raising here. JQ and a higher set only hands that have you beat. He's probably not checking this turn card with a set due to the draw threat. 2 pr will call a small raise here. ...

Re: NL5, Trip kings vs shove?

Got to bet this flop regardless. As played, you are sitting on trip kings. what do you think has you beat??? AA is reraising preflop. The flush threat certainly exists and could easily fit his...

Re: Turned huge draw/TP - Villian c/r - Line Check

Consider checking the turn to get that free river card. You have a lot of solid outs here. Whether or not to take this COA would depend on how I viewed my opponent, but it's a great way to control...

Re: Whats your line? $10NL

Put yourself in his shoes. If your OOP overbet were called here, what reads would you have on your opponent. I doubt you would decidedly say "he has trip jacks" although that would certainly be in...

Re: Top Pair and kicker versus a calling station

Perfect play until the river. You had an excellent holding considering your outs. Calling stations will rarely come out with this type of river bet without a significant hand. I'm thinking a set. ...

Re: QQ 3bet pf.

value betting river...villain made his move, failed, and is now checking down in hope of seeing a cheap showdown. likely you see a couple of big cards or 99+, but your hand is plenty good to bet...

Re: KK Against tight player

You're still sitting on an overpair. Only holdings that fit this pattern of betting and win are qq, AA, and 99. 33 doesn't make much sense.
You'll probably see something like AQ or JJ- more often...

Re: Blind Vs Blind NL50

No need to get involved in a big pot with this player when your holding is not very strong. Good chance he has an actual holding here. Pick your spot, but not here. I'm folding the flop.

Came over the top of a limp raiser like that? not surprised you got busted up.

Re: Did I play this AK fine?

Probably would have made the PF raise bigger to crush the set miners. However, you're probably getting AI with the best of it here. You're at your commitment threshold, so this is the point in time...

Re: NL50 BvsB, AK hits trips

Agreed 100 percent. On a more uncoordinated board, you could surely try to milk this hand over a couple streets.
In his position, I might minraise to try and slow you down and see a couple free...

Re: 50NL - Flopped nuts, value bet this river though?

Agreed. This is a value bet situation. Unfortunately, he likely busted out on his draw. The minbets were probably some pathetic attempt at a blocking bet. I'd shoot at least 15 at this pot and...

Re: NL50 - 99, turn brings Ace - what to do?

Info thus far does not suggest you are ahead, or at least not by much. We've already got a sizeable pot, let's not make it any bigger if we don't have to right now. Check the turn.

Re: How to beat a 96.5/34.7/0.8?

easy modification to your standard plays...like earlier post said...VALUE BETS.
You want to design a situation where you can get all in with the best of it. That means making your PF raises...

gotta raise earlier to slow him down. you're not always gonna have ideal conditions work out for you.

Re: QQ nl50

i mentioned those hands as possibilities, but if you're putting more than about 10 percent on something like 67, you're probably inaccurate. limp and then call raise to 5bb with 67 borders...

Re: QQ nl50

KK and AA probably not limping preflop unless they planned to limp-raise. That means you're main concern is 66 and 77. Most players folding deuces, but still there to consider. 67 only a...
