my first instinct is to 3bet just because you've under-represented your hand so much and it looks like you're just taking a stab at it on the turn.

Re: AQo Top 2pr on flop. Sketchy turn.
By the way, just to clarify, the small blind bet out his last $1 on the river, so the "raise" was only a completion of the normal bet...making it $2 to call.

AQo Top 2pr on flop. Sketchy turn.
At the time, I had absolutely no stats on the villain to get a good read. Do you fold on this turn? In hindsight, cold calling was probably stupid. What's your line here?

Re: 88 in sb. Stick around on the turn?
I think you're better off calling preflop here. As played, if you're going to bet this flop....you have to do so planning to c/f the turn unimproved if you get calls.

Re: Standard A hi?
1.- I agree with Niediam that its most often better to wait to c/r until the turn.
2.- OTOH, I think you can c/r the flop and lead the turn every once in a while to mix up your play a little. This...

Re: 3bet flop / raise turn ?
Given the unknown villain, I'd call the flop 3-bet and repop him in position on a blank turn. If he 3bets the turn, you can probably get rid of it (unless he's a maniac.)If he just calls the raise,...

Re: Tough spot with pocket 10\'s in blind steal
I would raise the flop here to find out where I am. You can get away from it if he 3bets, or if he calls I'd bet the turn and fold if he raises. Calling down in this spot is way too passive IMO.

Re: I wanna SD but I don\'t know if I should?
I agree with everyone else in that the standard play is to show this down.
On the other hand, you said that your read(given it was only 40 hands) on your opponent was that he was tight/passive....

Check behind on the turn. Most players that I see playing this way on the flop have top pair or the occasional flush draw. His c/r on the turn would usually have me thinking draw b/c why run the...

Re: Top pair vs TAG. Fold turn?
I'd call it down. You're probably beat, but I see enough people trying to get fancy with middle pairs, AcKc, etc. in this spot that I will show down depending on my read.
