Re: blackjack doubling soft hands A,7

Okay, seven cards, A,2 or 3 will improve the hand or T,J,Q or K will not harm it. And six cards 4,5,6,7,8 or 9 will harm it. So A/7/faceORten versus 6 is favorable to the player since 6 will bust or...

Re: 3/6 HoldEm losing streak due to A/A, K/K

It's the only game here, and I don't have a large bankroll for no-limit. Every once in a great while, there will be a 2-8 game which is relatively good for making chasers pay. Maybe I should stick to...

3/6 HoldEm losing streak due to A/A, K/K

After making a profit from HoldEm play, I've had about a dozen losing sessions because every time I get a A/A or K/K, cap the preflop, and bet out on the flop, turn, and river, there's always some...

Re: blackjack decks pre-shuffled

Ironically, I usually win at this place, but have NEVER won at the only other casino within commuting distance, and they DO shuffle and display the cards.

blackjack doubling soft hands A,7

What's the point of doubling A,7 if you should stand if it's not permitted? If hitting it isn't a good idea, why would doubling it be better?

I'm not sure why doubling soft A,x in general is...

blackjack decks pre-shuffled

At the local small-town casino, the blackjack decks are pre-shuffled and brought over to the blackjack table as needed. The players don't see the decks shuffled, and the cards are never spread on the...

blackjack side bets?

I'm wondering what the odds are for blackjack side bets, the small circle to the right of the blackjack bet circle. I like to play them every once in a while for entertainment.

Re: what\'s the average winning hold\'em hand?

My mistake is not posing this question in the Probability forum. I'm interested in any and all probabilities and statistics connected to hold'em. I realize most people ... aren't.

Re: what\'s the average winning hold\'em hand?

[ QUOTE ]
Its useless information. You don't know what your final hand will be, until the end.

[/ QUOTE ]

Say the average hand is 7-high two-pair.(I don't know what it is because I've never...

Re: what\'s the average winning hold\'em hand?

FR was specified. Though it would obviously vary by looseness of game, there's still a statistical average over the course of , say, a million games.

Yes. And I wasn't drawing that conclusion.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hence the monkey analogy. For one, folding all of your draws would be idiocy.

However, it won't help if the statistical...

I'll clarify that I don't mean starting hands, but the five cards that win the pot.

what\'s the average winning hold\'em hand?

What's the average winning hold'em hand? If a monkey played only hands that exceeded the average hand, to the river, would he win over time? (I'm thinking no /images/graemlins/grin.gif, but thought...

%deals nuts FR?

What percentage of deals, after the river, give someone the nuts in a full-ring hold'em game? In other words, how common is it for someone to hold the nuts?
