Re: Checking it down

or
"My hand is huge, I would check if...

"ANGLING IS PERMITTED, only players involved in a pot may angle"

Like I said different house rules if different...

Re: Checking it down

Discussing the hand while in play has become accepted as angeling here. I know that 3-4 years ago this wasn't the case and a local card room threatened me with a lifetime ban for doing it. City wide,...

Re: Playing at the same place you deal.

I was surprised when I was in Vegas this summer and the girl sitting to my right got up, and then sat down in the dealing chair 5 minutes later. I would love to play where I deal, but it's clearly...

Re: Player posts blind before previous pot is scooped

That's tough too. If the dealer wasn't doing anything useful he likely had no idea what the pot value should be, or who made what bets.

Re: Checking it down

As a dealer, and as the rules in my room (and every room I know of in this city) stand this is not considered collusion. As long as the players who are discussing the hand are involved in the hand...

Re: Player posts blind before previous pot is scooped

I think any floor person would be hard pressed to make a ruling in this case. People who are trained in such things are used to things being done properly, ie. the dealer is expected to bring in and...

Re: Checking it down

Nothing wrong with this at all. In fact only an idiot bets into a dead side pot when trying to eliminate a player in a tourney. I would be more irritated if I was one of the players with chips left...

Re: Home Poker Dealer

I've looked into the legality behind it, In Canada and sort of home poker is technically illegal. That being said, the only time a poker game has ever been busted around here has been high stakes...
