Can someone explain EV?
I'm not really a beginner at poker, but when I arrived at these forums, I found a lot on ev. What exactly is it? Is it the expected value amount per hand? Or is it more like pot equity..?

Re: $50+15 Live MTT bubble situation #2
I guess, if he can make it heads up, he has a better chance. I just don't think it's such a good idea if there are a few other short stacks ready to push. A5o is just not the best hand to push in a...

Re: $50+15 Live MTT bubble situation #1
Push would be really risky. You're assuming that your read is 100% good, and also assuming he doesn't have any reads on you. You're betting 6k to win 1.5k (And your tourney life). Not worth it in my...

Re: $50+15 Live MTT bubble situation #2
Fold, the BB chip leader will probably call with marginal hands. Since A5off isn't that spectacular either, it's probably going to be a race. You don't want to gamble that. Besides you can see 5 more...

Re: Should I have check/pushed the flop? FTP 50FP
I would have pushed with that hand just because you have a good chance of stealing the small blind, and buying yourself another hand. And on the flop, a push right away would be adequate if someone...

Re: call or fold the flop?
Hope you hit queen high flush, and hope it's good.
I might have just called the 300 raise instead of rereaising, because a) when you reraised to 600, chances were likely that villian would call,...

Hey guys,
I'm just curious. I'm really passionate about poker. It's a great game to play, and even better to win. But, when does one's passion for something like poker, become addiction?

Re: KK vs Pearljammed in WSOP sat
Flop is slightly dangerous, especially if he thinks you're just a donkey. Also, he could be cold calling with aces (I realize the odds of this) hoping to trap. But, it seems like sort of a ridiculous...

Re: Am I ready? (A little long of a post)
Haha, I realize that my question seems sort of stupid. I mean I'm sure no one here has played with me. I guess what I'm trying to ask is whether or not I should do a tourney or a cash game. I have a...
