Re: AQ in Re-raised pot

i think it gives us the most information about his hand...c/r on flop he could have anything...but for him to 3 bet the turn he has to have an 8, nothing else IMO

Re: AQ in Re-raised pot

Re: AQ in Re-raised pot

i think where shpanko is going is that paired board flops are very easy to C/R in his spot. By checking you do not give him pot control because you have position. It simply keeps the pot smaller. ...

Re: Cowboys to death (100nl)

I'm stacking this off one way or another.

bet $30-36 and have to call a push.

if you think crai is the play to get him to stack off then that is fine.

i think it is a little ridiculous to...

Re: This hand winnable/ Better betting lines?

This is very bad. It is a limped pot and you're drawing to not even close to the nuts on a paired board against a LAG. Do yourself a favor and try bluffing when there is reason too rather than...

trips OOP, middle stages of 5r at FTP

Sorry about no hand history, I am at work.

Tournament was the 4.5k guarantee on FTP 5r. which is a 6max event.

Re: $400nl: QK- 150bb deep: I bluff lots

if he plays more hands then most i think a flop like this is likely to be more in his range...I'm not a huge fan of this hand OOP but I think the river shove is better

Re: QQ OOP vs. semi compentant LAG.

I agree... but OOP and in this game, I felt $90 pre was doing the same good as $150 while keeping the pot smaller

QQ OOP vs. semi compentant LAG.

I play in a home game every thursday at a local club. The crowd is usually local country club guys that have a deep pocket and don't have too much a clue when it comes to postflop or preflop 3 bets...

Re: QQ Preflop

Doyle Brunson was also talking of a cash game with more then 200bb behind him and 100K in cash on the table playing against the best in the world. Believe me he is 100% pushing here.

You got your...

Re: AQs early in $50, probably beat

I definetly do not put villian on AA-KK. I think early in a tournament, from the botton, this guys calling range is big and will have a number of hands in it. Including AhXh,4h5h, KQ, 66, 22....

Facing all-in deep in double jackpot tourney B on FT

For some reason my PAHud was not working on these two tournaments so bare with me. I have been playing super hyper agrressive making raises and reraises in position to take down blinds with mediocre...

Re: 100NL tryin not to be straitforward/bad :(

He definetly has a J so you are behind, this play can work only if you know he will fold TPTK/MK...my guess he has KJ-JTs...as stated read dependent

I think it's a pretty bad idea to try to semi-bluff a donk. You need fold equity, and you don't have much against a short stacked donk.
