Re: When To Give Up?

Playing part-time is just much more enjoyable. If you put half of the effort into a professional career as you would need to be successful at poker, you will defintiely go places. If down the road...

Re: Stud8 - Is this Collusion?

During the course of this hand when he makes the check raise on 5th street, you may have to consider that he has trip 4's and was waiting until it was a full bet to get max value. I actually like...

Re: Call or 3-bet river?

If you reraise him, it opens yourself up to be reraised...effectively costing you 2 bets. I don't see how that could be a good play.

Re: Stud Question bringing in with a concealed pocket pair

Ray Zee makes a good point about giving away your hand.

Re: Questionable limp (Stud Hi)

With the A-K-Q yet to act behind me I am going to dump this hand. If your pair was concealed it might be worth im my opinion. That said, I have a little more conservative game.

Re: Conceled 5\'s line

I don't like the raise on 3rd street because it puts you in a must bet positon of 4th street. If you raise 3rd with the Ace and then check 4th it is a sign of weakness as you are going to lead the...

Re: FTP Rakeback for an existing account?

I have the same question but want to add the following scenario: I have an account at FTP but have never made a deposit. Does this make a difference in being able to get rakeback for future...

Re: Stud Question bringing in with a concealed pocket pair

I tend to complete bringing it in if my concealed pair is higher than any of the doorcards of my opponents.

When I am in the field and someone else brings it in for the complete bet, I think about...

Re: Stud variance :(

Once a session gets to a point where I feel like I am going to lose a hand even when I know I am way ahead, I just call it a night. It is hard to come out winner when you feel like you are going to...

Re: Missing bets and underplaying your hand in razz

In a lower limit game I play it aggressive and do not get tricky. A lot of these players are playing their cards more than they are playing your board. If they they have a shot at an 8 or better...

Re: Multitabling stud

I play (2) tables and always the same flavor. Anything beyond that is difficult for me to play my "A" game.

Re: Analysis of A Seven Card Stud Downswing!

I like the 21% on 4th street and that is where I am usually at. The Showdown numebrs are very low meaning you either went too far with a lot of hands, you are misreading your opponents hands, or you...

Re: Stud in Cardrooms

$1-5 at a pace of 30 hands an hour just doesn't interest me. In most casino's these days, the game is hard to keep going and is just full of rock's.

As far as card memorization, the more you...

Re: New to 7CS Plays Split Aces

I would have gone into check and call mode on 4th street for the fair op the Villian having trips. The good news is that your cards are still live.

Re: stud hi and stud hilo online, playing both at same time.

I have done it the past, but I now stick with multi-tabling the same flavor only. Assuming you are a good player, it does not take too many mistakes before you lose any edge you may have.

Re: 7CS ($0.50/1.00) Your Comments Much Appreciated

Pretty standard really. I think you played it well and the only thing you really need to be concerned with is the opponents Ace as he could make a higher 2 pair. I would have raised in this...

Re: First Post

I definitely call on 3rd with and 3 overcards to the board. I don't even think a raise is out of the question. The fact that it is only $1-2 only encourages me because I have a hand that will...

Re: Razz - Value river raise

Borderline raise for me vs. the A-3-4 board. The only thing I like is that the 2's are pretty much dead.
