ps3 also had a higher price point and had to deal with competing with wii and 360, while 360 was cheaper and didn't have to deal with any competition

so ps3 selling almost as fast as...

Last year at this time the 360 had only 6 million boxes sold (11 mos after launch), compared to 5.5 million...
