Re: NL10, AQ vs. donk

I guess what I'm asking is, have I overvalued TPGK here? Even though villain is a donk, his bet sizes represent a bigger hand, and I'm wondering if it was a mistake to chase it?

BB/100 over how long?

When you calculate your BB/100, how far back do you typically look to determine your current rate? Ie.: in PokerTracker, I get different results if I look at my entire history vs. just my last 1500.

Re: Best hand to play against AA?

I was involved in a 4-way preflop all-in, AA vs. KK vs. QQ vs 78s. When I saw that lineup, I thought the 78s player was a dingbat. But I guess he wasn't so far off.

(The flop had an A, and I...

Re: NL:10, time to lay down KK?

Scheister and gedanken, thanks for the constructive feedback. I've been getting slaughtered a lot recently with KK by players making AA on the flop. This is only reenforced by the fact that I've...

NL:10, time to lay down KK?

Villain was 81/7. I figure he'll call with any ace. When an ace hits the flop and you're holding KK, is this sound play?

Re: Won entry in to casino tourney - Need to learn hold em in a day

I'm kinda surprised no one is suggesting getting a computer program and actually playing the game. I was in the same situation; I was invited to a rourney before I even knew the game and I had a...

Re: What does \"to straddle\" mean?

If you're under the gun and you choose to straddle, do you have to announce it before your cards are dealt?
