Re: NL50: not spewing in an unraised pot?

He's probably got 58, but a 7 is certainly there too. Easy easy fold.

Re: Stars $50 - Overpair vs flop raise

If you're going to reraise, just push. Raising to $20 would be awful since it gives him great odds to draw to a flush. the choices are push and call imo.

Re: NL50 - AA in LP versus SB pre-flop Reraise

I have a hunch this belongs in bbv, but I'll give my advice anyway. If you're going to smooth-call AA in position, you have to go broke with it unless the board gets really scary. They simply aren't...

Only thing you did wrong was not reloading preflop.

Re: NL$200| QQ - Committed but his line is very strong!

I don't see how someone with those stats could have TT or JJ. He didn't raise PF, which I'm 99% certain a 17/9 would have done, unless they were mixing it up for some reason. You have to check the...

Re: NL50 - AA on connected board

I don't mind getting bluffed this hand, since the board is so scary. I would check behind the turn, and likely fold the river. Nothing changes with the As, although holding the nut flush draw would...

NL 100 my trips runs into heat.

Villain is 24/8. I figured after my turn call, his bet on the river is value for sure. Now the question is, can I beat his V-Bet range?

Re: How long do I withhold tips? Dealer mistake costs me $1800. (long)

I don't care about EV, I'm talking about dealer accountability. In this poker room, tips are pooled, so motivation for the dealers to do well is lacking. Should they not be punished in some way for...

5/10 live. My AK gets 6 callers and turns a pair.

Live 5/10 NL. The BB in this hand is pretty loose, but I haven't seen anything crazy. I have around 900 and he covers.
Five limpers to me, I make it 80 on the button with A...

How long do I withhold tips? Dealer mistake costs me $1800. (long)

At the casino I play at, if the flop betting isn't complete, but the dealer burns and turns early, the exposed card gets shuffled back in, but before they shuffle, they burn and turn, and the card...

Re: 25/50 v traheho standard no?

Is just calling rather than squeezing standard for these stakes? My initial impression is to raise PF, but no one has mentioned that so I assume against this guy at these stakes calling PF is...

Re: What\'s the right play?

I think you have to call this. You're getting 140-80 and you're often a slight favorite, if he has just a pair of nines and doesn't share either of your cards as a kicker.

Re: What risks to online poker should I consider as a Full-time SnG player

The bigger concern here, is why the heck is the OP playing SNGs when cash games are available?

Re: Pocket 99\'s on CO.....correct line? What to bet on turn?

I would just call on the flop. Giving free cards in NL isn't as much of a concern as protecting your stack. Keep the pot small, as his chances of hitting a 6-outer isn't that good, and if he hits,...

Re: NL100: Trips on river, call push?

One thing I don't like is playing AQo utg, though. I've more or less settled on AQs and better in EP. I just don't think any smaller, offsuit broadway hands are profitable oop (and I...

Re: Making a stand against a maniac - 77 faces big bet on the river

I would also keep the pot small pre-flop. It makes it much cheaper to call down. Even a maniac likely won't give you much action anyway if you 3-bet and they can't beat your 77 on the flop.

I would probably let the non-english slide between players while a hand isn't being played, but from the dealer its completely unacceptable. As for while a hand is out, just politely ask them to use...

Second hand of a $150+12 on FT. AQs against a CO min-raise and call.

This was the second hand of the tourney, and I had no info yet on any of the players. Is my squeeze PF squeeze standard with the caller in there? Looking back, I should have made it at least 200....

Re: Unique situation - did I make a huge mistake?

The only thing you did wrong was when you called an utg raiser with KJ. Checking the flop with the intention of checking it down is bad. If you're slowplaying or something, then check and bet the...

Live 5/10. CR the field with a smal pair? Standard or spew?
