Re: 5nl, no idea what to do with an overpair here

Glad to see that the consensus is shove. I did, and villain calls showing 74o. I felt like I should have seen it coming, but now I don't feel alone, lol.

Also, your preflop 3-bet was too small.

5nl, no idea what to do with an overpair here

Villain is 22/7/2.29 over 150 hands. Plays are fairly straightforward, and doesn't seem to get out of line really.

Re: Are semi-bluffs any good at uNL?

I did have reads, and I neglected to put them in. His numbers over about 100 hands were 22/22/7.3

Any hand he played, he either raised himself or re-raised preflop. And his agression is through...

Re: Shove on the turn with TT

There were no reads on UTG as he was a new entity to the table. The shove was a combination of trying to make weak kings fold, and block out any flush draw. My thought was to dump after UTG c/r the...

Are semi-bluffs any good at uNL?

The more uNL I've been playing, the more I question plays like the one I make here.

Shove on the turn with TT

The CO is a friend of mine and is dealt TT. What do you think of the shove? +EV or spew?

Re: $5 nl, is this +EV???

Thanks slush, that makes a lot of sense. That's what I realized after making the play, and getting called by QQ. When he made that call I realized I was thinking too many levels above what stakes...

Re: $5 nl, is this +EV???

Well the SB already bet out the pot, so I couldn't bet it out. I was defintely raising, so it was a question of how much. If he has the straight or a set now, then I'm getting it all in there with...

$5 nl, is this +EV???

I've been agressive throughout the session, (16/12/7). I'm wondering if those numbers combined with the fact that it's such small stakes is going to make this play +EV.

$5 NL Ever ahead of villain?

Played this so bad, I was tilting a bit from some beats, and wanted villain to be on 2 overs. But is he ever going to hold them the way this played out? Or could this be good for meta-game? I'm...

Re: NL25: Shove with overpair. Spew?

Once he shoves here, you're done with the hand. The only way you're ahead is if he's got 77-33. I don't think he's doing this with air, it looks like a big pp to me fwiw.

I'm definitely taking...

Re: AKo...facing all-in

You guys really think that villain's shoving with AQ or worse enough to make this profitable? Obviously against any pp this is -EV, so I'm wondering why people are saying easy call. I'd say this is...

Re: Should I have folded QQ pf here?

Meh, I don't mind the fold too much. After your giant utg raise, the table should be aware that you're sitting on a big hand. With that information, this guy elects to re-raise you.

You're...

Re: FT200 2+2er takes a weird line

Perhaps he made a loose preflop call with QJs. I don't know orange frog or his style.

I think more likely would be 99 or maybe 22. Called the prelop with a pp looking for a set, and caught it.

Re: NL10 KK 3-bet pot. Villain donks, shove?

Raise him here and see how he reacts. If he shoves, you're probably behind to a set, but he might call and check the turn to you.
