Re: Poker Cards

I got a setup of those Fournier cards from Pstars and thought they were ok, until we played with them. Both decks were off the table in less than two hours with marked cards in them...fingernail...

Re: Caught Cheating--What to do?

[ QUOTE ]
I like the idea of sitting in the 3 seat and folding on the flop with the nuts (nuts at the time, because obviously if the dealer is cheating he'll turn or river a better hand) and see...

Re: my HU tourney structure opions wanted

I have thought about this a bit since somebody brought up the idea to me and here is my thoughts on running one:

-Each player puts up $10 per match up...

Re: NLHE cash game buyin - what\'s the minimum?

my advice would be never put a minimum buy-in unless you have people buying in for like a dollar. People who are going to buy in for $5 usually suck anyways and their money will not last very long...

Re: Having minors at your home game

I would have less of a problem with playing with a minor that plays for "fun" money (i.e. money not for rent, food, or bills) than with an adult that plays with the rent. I have played with both and...

Re: Having trouble with blind schedule/chip distrubition v92915

Re: Heads Up Home Game Tournament

how about 1/2 NL, each player gets $100 in chips and the blinds dont go up? pretty simplistic, good stacks for the blinds, and it shouldnt last too long.

Re: Home Game Introduces Rake- I have Concerns

sounds like these guys are just trying to make a buck (as stated above), have no idea what they are doing, are not providing anything for the rake (other than the game), and my bet is on the game...

Re: ruling for an exposed card

thanks all for the replies...I appreciate the thoughts on this.

Like i said, at this game I was better off not tapping the glass for sure. Whatever they wanted to do was pretty much fine by me....

Re: How do I adjust to this home game?

1. find a better game if you want to play seriously. Starting out with 25 BB is ridiculous, and the raising every time someone gets knocked out makes it an absolute crap shoot. This is an awful...

Re: Home Cash Game (chip set-up)

-I like the idea of the .25/.25 game...makes everything real simple. the multiples of the BB thing would be a non-issue because it is actually multiples of the SB too, and that is what every game...
