Re: What is going on here? (statistics skills needed)

I'm not sure where you're getting the variance based on the information given here. I think you've got the right idea about everything except for finding sigma.

Gary Busey

Out of curiosity - beacuse I'm not really sure how seriously anyone takes this guy - how good of an actor is Gary Busey?

Re: Another river

this looks pretty slanted toward check fold. Anyone think that the turn is kind of close to a check/fold though? Does he have 55-77 often enough here?

Re: KQo - AQ3

Re: Freeplay from BB flops mid pair

betting this flop is pretty terribs. Let's just check; we aren't finding the folds often enough and our hand is just not that strong. I call the turn and fold the river ui.

Re: Confused with JJ .10/.20

this hand is fine. The thought of waiting for a turn may come to mind but this board is too unthreatening and there's plenty of immediate equity with the second guy crammed between.

Re: WA/WB with second pair good kicker?

it's a nice hand. certainly a raise anywhere would be terrible. Certainly he has a worse hand frequently enough to get to showdown.
