Re: Razz .50/1 - betting 6th and 7th

Bet/folding here is gross but only because our opponent might be bad enough to raise with a worse hand. Personally, I think that there are tons of players who NEVER raise on a bluff here... i'm one...

OK, I'm weak too, but fold 6th.

Re: 20/40 Heads Up Razz hand on Full Tilt

Ayo - I'm saying 3-bet 5th given your line. If you bet 4th, and he still raises you on 5th then I again will be 3-betting but I think he either calls or folds in that spot...

Against bigface, you...

Re: 20/40 Heads Up Razz hand on Full Tilt

If you can stand the swings, the best strategy vs. bigface is to play your big hands slow early on. He is very very easy to manipulate like this, but he sees the showdown pretty much no matter what...

Re: 20/40 Heads Up Razz hand on Full Tilt

Here's the thing about bigface - if you show him any sign of weakness at all he goes crazy. By checking 4th, he is assuming you have either paired or didn't start well. I'm 3-betting 5th street...

Re: 20/40 Heads Up Razz hand on Full Tilt

Agreed, and this might sound a little whacky but I usually 3-bet 5th in this spot because I want to represent the 8 draw and I'm never that far behind anyway. After the check on 4th it might be a...

Re: Razz river: call or raise?

I think I just call this river. His bet on 6th tells me he's either made or bluffing, so I don't see a whole lot of value in raising...

Re: Razz - semi-ok hand 3-way - linecheck

Okay...

1. I agree that you should bet any river brick here. You are repping a made 7 and if you make a 3rd pair or hit a face card on 7th you obviously have to try and win the pot by betting......

Re: $5 - RAZZ MTT - what\'s your line here?

[ QUOTE ]
I don't bet 5th. Neither one of them are going anywhere.

[/ QUOTE ]

He is obviously winning on 5th, and has the best draw. Nobody is slowplaying a made 7 like this. If you check...

Re: Razz - really dead 543

I play it the same... I like just calling on 3rd because I don't think you want play this for 2 bets with all the dead cards.

Re: razz micro

I think spots like this are close enough to be judgment calls and are very opponent/read dependent. Unless opponent is a rock, and especially if he is somewhat LAG, I say call but be prepared to...

Re: Razz - semi-ok hand 3-way - linecheck

Wait... you really expect this guy to call with a K or Q?? Honestly, I don't see much value in this bet unless he really is that bad. The pot is small on 7th so I see even the worst players folding...

Re: 5-10 Razz....line check

David played this hand very poorly and you didn't punish him for it. Brennen is dead on - if you are flat calling 6th you better be raising 7th. And I agree that although you would've gotten the...

Re: Razz - calling 4th?

Although I probably call here around half the time depending on how I feel about it at the moment, I think the right move is probably to fold 4th. Here's the math:

Re: Stud 8 in Vegas?

I've found that Caesar's will spread any game if they have enough players. If you go on the weekend you can get a HORSE game together no problem, but stud8 alone might be a stretch. As to the...

Re: Too tricky for low stakes?

This is such a clear and easy fold on 3rd. Assuming that your opponents will give you credit for the wheel (exactly A5 in the hole) here is insane... like Jb said, they are both going high and are...

Like Rusty said, I think raising 4th is a must...

1. For isolation
2. For information
3. For value (maybe)

As played, I'm not really sure why you are leading out on 6th? You gave him...
