NL50: not spewing in an unraised pot?

The villain is 31/6/1.5 after 70 hands or so. Do I believe them after the turn re-raise?

NL50: flopped a straight , getting a lot of heat

3rd hand at the table, no real reads. Just lost with QQ to Ace rag. What do you do after being re-raised by MP2 on the flop?

Re: NL 100 my trips runs into heat.

This is AQ/AJ a lot more often than 88/55

Re: NL50: flopped a straight on a nasty looking board

Really? I like to mix it up sometimes raising with suited broadway/JT from UTG. Is it that bad?

NL50: flopped a straight on a nasty looking board

I'm running 15/9 after about 120 hands, been quiet for a while. The table is pretty loose, but nothing too crazy. Ok to bet this flop?

NL50: facing a big raise with a good draw

The villain is 13/4/1.5 after 70 hands or so.

What's my line on the flop? Arr-in?

Re: 50NL | Flopped 2 pair

sounds like a A8s/ATs or a set of 77s/99s. Any reads? I might be inclined to wait til the turn to raise. As played, I would prolly call, expecting to win a fair amount of time given 2:1 pot odds.

Re: NL $25 - What should I have done on the river?

I check behind after they call flop and turn bets. It'd suck to face an all-in at this spot.

Re: 50NL: KK on monotone board.

I agree - if you bet the turn and get called, you can assume that he has an ace and c/f the river.

Re: M2TR shortstacker illuminati thread

I have 2 questions.

1. Serious question. This sounds awefully like a push/fold application of the ICM-based SNG strategy. However, SNGs are geared towards winning top spot in a fixed prize pool...

Re: 200NL Board Pairs River... Nut Flush Faces AI Overbet

Out of all the hands the villain is repping here only 77/JJ beat you. I call and expect to see a KQs a lot.

Re: NL100 - misplayed KK overpair 3 way?

I guess that this could be TT-QQ sometime, taking a passive line. Prolly a breakeven call.

Re: Nl50: 3 hands - How I played these?

Hand 1 - ok pf, flop betting is prolly spew, obv ok turn+.
Hand 2 - I might lay it down on the turn. You are prolly are up against AsXx/combo draw.
Hand 3 - well played, snap call the river.

Re: 2NL: TPTK faces aggression on otherwise dry board

fold preflop. as played bet 1/2-2/3 of pot on the turn and fold if raised. check/fold the river.

Re: 200 NL, I hate this spot with AA.

Question. Let's say we check the turn and the villain bets 1/2 the pot, and we call. Wouldn't it be preferrable to committing to a very threatening board by betting the pot?

Re: 50NL - KK on a dangerous flop

So it looks like everyone is advocating pushing/raising. OK, I agree, that's an obvious play.

I raise to $15, and UTG+1 calls. The turn is 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif and UTG+1 goes all in for...

50NL - representing a set

The SB is taggish, but bets about 60% of the flops after raising PF. I'd put them on TT+ AQ+ PF, after the flop I'm sure that it is JJ+. Can we ever make them fold here?

50NL - getting aggro with 99

Am I overplaying 99? MP3 is about 35/20 after 100 hands or so.
