Re: First Post With JJ On The Button

I think betting the flop is an horrible mistake. You are good like never, and if you are good, you are not going to chase anyone out. Since the pot is big you want to hit your two+ outer really bad,...

Re: Trips on the flop

I love bet/threebetting. Villain is raising some hands on the flop that we beat, therefore hopefully knock out some 1 heart hands, backdoor straightdraws, gutshots. I think checkraising does not...

Re: Some guy posts 1st hand in, mutters to himself a bunch and 4bets m

Why aren't we raising the turn? We also got an open ended straight flush draw with our TPSK.

I don't understand what people didn't understand in my first post.

Re: Turned boat vs. stuck maniac playing straddle

I am not raising the turn. You are either chopping (often) or loosing. If he's bluffing, let him bluff. (I am not capping th e flop either)

Re: 3/6 a BB special, h/u, how to extract most value ?

The pot is small, so free cards aren't that bad. I am raising the flop 100% without a specific read though

Re: zomg i called 2 bets on the turn with a frush draw and OESD

Call on turn, but don't put much bets in on the river if you make your flush/straight.

Re: Live 4/8 KK -- Preflop I Cap Multiway -- Postflop I Call Call Call

I am always capping pf, folding on the flop (you might have close to 4 outs. But all of them are tainted. The only really good cards are the black kings, but someone might have the AA or some goofy...

Re: Fold a Set for Just a Bet? Twice?

The pot is small in the first and you are beat.

I am never raising pf in the second hand, and I am never folding on the river in that spot. If the caller on the turn raised, and it was two back...

Re: elindauer is in the well

Ever had tilt issues? If so, what did you do to control it?

Why do you make such awesome posts? All posts I read from you are a couple of paragraphs, and well thought out. Don't you have better...

Re: 2-4 live: open end st8 flush gets there

He doesn't have the T/images/graemlins/heart.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif because that would be sick. Easy cap, and a 6bang if you are allowed. Then I would call a 7th.

Re: Questions about 2xBB hour profit at Low-Limit hold\'em

I expected, as most players did, an hourly rate higher/around 2bb/hour. My first sessions were really good (350 per night in 5/10 limit game). THen suddenly you start having sessions where you flop...

Re: KQs UTG+2, every street debatable

I'd like to thank you all for your responses. especially Elindauers was very thorough. I am surprised that so many of you don't like the pf call. I assume you would like it if I were the button and...

Re: KQs UTG+2, every street debatable

No they didn't had both crap. One guy had JJ, The other AA. An ace on the river made the decent player wining for the rest of the night.

Re: KQs UTG+2, every street debatable

BadBigBabar,

You fold the first or the second time on the flop? I thought it reasonable to put the original raiser on an A, and bb on some pair that didn't hit the flop, therefore he checked. You...

Re: Top set multiway on pretty terrible river

I am bet/calling. People will call you with much worse. Of course a straight is out there often, but not often enough. This card also completes a lot of two pair hands that will call (or even raise)...

Re: Monster Draw played passively on flop

I am betting the flop. You have an enormous edge. People will call with crap on flops. Let them pay you. I am checking some turns though (very player dependent)

Re: QQ flops sets, alternate flop lines ?

I am agreeing on everything written so far. I might bet-call the turn on a blank if he caps. (checkraising a boat card) Calling a river unimproved. If I boat up I will checkraise the river in that...

KQs UTG+2, every street debatable

Every street is debatable in my opinion. Thought it would be an interesting hand to discuss. The table was loose and aggressive pf (1 raise, 5-6 people to the flop), somewhat passive postflop

Re: 5/10 E live Going nuts with the nut flush draw

Both are 5 euro's. There are no 2.5 chips in the game

Re: Flop C-bet w/ No Pair, Turn Missed, I...

Check and calling some rivers (<=T), and betting some (A), and checking folding some (the rest of the broadways).

Villain might blufbet here, but the pot is not that large, so I think...

Re: I play poker? (8-16) hand

How can you not raise pf. You ought to raise here like QJs+ AKo TT+. Terrible! This is like a 2-3 sb mistake, which is huge!

I really feel like folding to the threebet if the 15 chip (I take it...

5/10 E live Going nuts with the nut flush draw

Its a bit an aggressive loose game. Couple of people limp, the CO raises and I call in the SB (SB=BB structure) with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif5/images/graemlins/spade.gif. The raiser seemed...

Re: Red AA. 6/12 limit. Action on the turn.

*grunch*

I like the hand as played. Against most live players I am bet/folding the turn.
