I agree that running for an hour is probably worse for your body. I know a few distance runners who have bad knees at the ripe old age of 25.

I'm not an exercise expert, so I'm not sure. I think I'm generally comparing high intensity work outs versus low intensity ones. Whether that's aerobic or weight training I'm not sure. Maybe...

what you just posted doesn't in any way make it obvious that the benefits outweigh the negatives. Maybe being 10 lbs overweight for the rest of your life is better than being a ripped machine-man...
